I am the Alpha, you the Luna

CHAPTER 1: 10 years into the past.

"7,8,9....10! Ready or not Robyn here I come!" I shouted loud enough for my best friend to hear.

It was a bright July afternoon and as a seven year old kid I felt there was nothing better to do then play hide and seek in the pack house - and it was a good way not to get under every ones feet.

I started looking for my friend behind the large velvet curtain that was hung in the living room, but as I pounced at the curtain nothing was there, but a vase filled with those yellow flowers that made you wet the bed.

I looked underneath the staircase, in the 3 bathrooms we had downstairs, and underneath the large dining table we had in the massive kitchen which was conjoined to yet another room, but Robyn wasn't there.

I wondered to the second landing and into the Luna and alphas room, who happened to be my mom and dad.

I looked under the large 4 poster bed and into the vencían wardrobe but she wasn't their either. I tried sniffing out her scent but it was hard considering my senses wouldn't fully activate until I was 10.

All of a sudden I heard hushed voices and growls in protest coming from my father's meeting room.I came out of the bedroom and pressed my head and ears to the door to listen what was going on, on the other side.

"What do you want us to do Alpha?" that sounded like my father's beta, Matthew.

"We stay" said my father

And there was lots of growls in protest.

"But alpha the rouges are coming and our numbers have decreased since the last attack staying isn't the wises option." Somebody explained

"ARE YOU QUESTIONING YOUR LEADERS DECISION? Are you questioning the ALPHA!" Growled my father.

I heard everybody take a sharp intake and there was silence.

"what are you up to Casey?" said a voice behind me..

I jumped and turned around to face my older brother,keon.

"Ur.. Umm, nothin' I'm just, a, playing hide and go seeky with Robyn" I stumbled.

My brother raises an eyebrow and looked from the door to me.

"Do you want me to sniff her out for you?" he asked. Because keon was 11 his sense were already activated, which wasn't fair.

"No, keon that would be cheating." I protested. But he didn't listen to me.

"She's on the third floor in the 3rd bathroom. And your welcome." He said walking away.

"What a dumb-dumb" I whispered.

I traveled all the way to the third floor and walked into the bathroom. I stopped when I heard sniffling noises.

"Robyn? Robyn are you ok, is that you?" I asked

I walked over to the lining cuboard and opened it up to see Robyn crouched on the floor with her cheeks streaked with tears. Gently I pushed her black fringe away from her face

"Why are you crying robby? I asked

"The wouges, the wouges are coming" she wailed and she started crying again.
