I hadn't talked to Ashton all weekend. I wanted to avoid him for as long as possible. I didn't want to spill the kiss with Michael, which wasn't my fault, which would have been hell'a awkward. I'm sure Michael just thought it was the heat of the moment sort of thing or just cos we were the only two in the kitchen and kissing me just felt right, which it didn't, but I wasn't okay with it.

When I got home on Friday night, around 12, Michael had sent me a few texts saying how sorry he was and he didn't mean to kiss me. I said I was fine, whatever things happen, but the only thing was, we had a secret against Ashton now.

I had talked to Morgan and Cia for about two hours on Friday night about my problem. They were good for that kind of stuff and they were good listeners and gave good advice. Cia told me to talk to Michael and straighten things out, but don't lie to Ashton. Morgan basically agreed.

It was Sunday afternoon. I had invited all of the boys round for lunch and a swim in the pool as it was a hot sunny day, a rare one for winter in New York.

The boys came to the house around 2pm. I buzzed them into the house and greeted me with gifts. The four of them had pitched in to buy me a small bouquet of miniature pink roses. They were beautiful.

The kiss Ashton gave me when he came through the door was an awkward one, for me anyway. I lead the boys thorough the kitchen and out to the pool before Ashton asked why I cut the kiss so short.

Calum, Mike and Luke were in awe of the expensive house I lived in. I guessed that Ashton hadn't told them about my dad's job or name.

Calum and Ashton stripped of their t-shirts before tucking into the pool and throwing a ball around. Michael sat down at the patio table with me and Luke dipped his feet in the pool splashing Cal and Ash. I started the conversation to Mike quietly.

"We have to tell him."

"About wha- oh... That. Look Cliff, I'm so sorry."

"You're fine, it's just I can't not tell Ash, I don't like lying." I but my lip.

"I know, me too. This is all my fault." Mike rubbed his hands through his hair.

"Well... Yeah."

"I'm sorry. I guess I was just really at Luke and Chastity and it just felt right to kiss you. Ugh, I'm such an idiot." He leaned back in his chair.

"Don't worry about it, I'm sure Ash will be fine. It was a mistake." I sighed. Michael smiled in my direction, pulled off his shirt and cannonballed into the pool.

I sat at the table and watched the boys horsing around for a few minutes then took of my kimono, revealing my blue swimsuit. I knelt down beside Luke and dipped my feet in the warm pool. I was surprised at how hot the water was but remembered it was heated.

"Hey," Luke smiled, glancing over at me.

"Hey." I paused. "Do you remember anything the night of the party?" I asked quietly.

"Yeah..." Luke sighed.

"Do you remember Chastity?" I whispered.

"Yeah. Michael seemed fine with it though, I don't think he bothered now. He must have found another girl..." Luke trailed off.

I felt as if I would throw up right there and then but I didn't. Ashton peered over to me and waded through the water next to us.

"You look stunning." Ashton smiled.

"Same goes." I answered, dropping into the water. The water was up to my stomach, we were in the shallow end.

Ashton pulled me through the water to the deeper end, which I could still stand in but barely, but the boys were all well able to stand in it. They were all around six foot, and I was 5"6.
