chapter one

Ava time for breakfast, my mum called me
Be down in a sec as I got down I smelled blue berry pancake my favourite all of a sudden we heard shouting and smelled smoke the pack houses were on fire.

My dad told me I should hide that our pack was under attack I ran and hid and all of a sudden three wolves barged in and my dad tried to fight them off but as he was fighting off two wolves the third one charged towards my mum ,she tried to fight the wolf but was not strong enough and i watched as the wolf  bit of my mum's neck and after her lifeless body fell to the ground my father lost all hope and I watched as the two wolves slowly tore him from limb to limb .

This is the same nightmare that has hunted me for the past eight years when i woke up I noticed that it was morning and my back hurt from sleeping on the ground in the woods for so long ,I heard a twig snap and I didn't bother to check what it was and took off running this was my routine

I kept on running and heard growls and I ran as if my life depended on it bcus it did ,I kept running and knew they were gaining on me I kept running till I stumbled on a territory and then I didn't hear the growls again as I tried to run back into the forest I was stopped by a big grey wolf and with the looks of it he was a beta and I just entered his pack territory

I knew I was so dead bcus I was a rogue and rogues were not welcomed in any pack talk less of been seen near their territories,I tried to run but I was surrounded by more wolves who am guessing are the pack warriors

The grey wolf shifted and looked at me in disgust and the rest of the wolves shifted and two came and started dragging me I tried explaining to them that I was been chased and I didn't mean to enter their pack territory but they didn't listen to me

They kept dragging me and when we passed the pack houses the men and women looked at me in disgust while the children playing where dragged by their parents so they wouldn't come near me

I was dragged to the dungeon where they kept prisoners or rogues and when I entered a foul smell hit me it smelt like blood and decaying flesh

I was forcefully thrown into a dungeon and where I was chained to the wall and was given something to drink by how it burned my throat am sure it was wolfsbane and the man who I was guessing was the beta finally spoke saying the alpha will see me when he returned and I should pray to the moon goddess that he doesn't kill me

I tried to explain again but the effect of the wolfsbane was kicking in and I felt my self screaming in pain and finally the darkness consumed me
