It had been a few weeks since the apprehensive goth had found herself being interviewed on her behavior in Total Drama Action, an entire aftermath episode having been filmed since her time in the hot seat. Throughout that, she had sat awkwardly next to Trent, who had since forgiven her for their entire fiasco but Gwen couldn't shake the uneasiness she felt about everything.

Adding onto those feelings, watching Bridgette try to swing Geoff back to his old self after the fame of being an aftermath host got to his head was difficult, to put it lightly. The accusations he made during her interview kept repeating over and over in her head as she witnessed the aftermath in real-time, the thoughts who persisted well into after the episode had finished.

Once the aftermath host had been tended to, cleaning himself up after the electric chair fiasco and replacing his shirt, he found the goth standing off on her own against the wall. She peeked up from her phone every once and a while, catching the rest of the eliminated cast separated into groups and chatting away, eventually laying her eyes on the blonde. A frown appeared on her face as he got closer, her eyes darting back to her phone screen to ignore him as she expected the worst.

However, the teal-haired female found herself as the target of the party animal, leaning his arm against the wall beside him as he addressed her. His voice lowered as he lamented, "Gwen, I wanted to say sorry for all the crap I said on air. I was being a total jerk and completely pushed aside everyone's feelings for views, which is totally uncool." She raised a brow at him, unsure of what to do, and he insisted, "I know you're probably still mad, which is cool, I get it, but could I try to make it up to you at all?"

The female stayed quiet for a moment but ultimately decided to hear him out. She shut the screen off on her phone and placed it in her skirt pocket, crossing her arms and leaning further into the wall. "I'm listening," she flatly told him, and his face lit up at the words.

As per his usual behavior, Geoff pumped his fist and rose his voice up a few octaves, "Wicked! That's what I like to hear!" He noticed Gwen flinch at his volume change, his shoulders dejectedly shrinking down at her reaction. "Sorry, sorry, didn't mean to spook ya."

"Right," he began, "So you know how I said I'd be able to take you to a party after the game while we were back on the island?" The goth nodded, honestly surprised he remembered that, and he continued, "I managed to find out from one of my inside guys that there's this sweet party going on at one of the producer's houses later tonight, and I was hoping you'd be up to go as my plus one party bro."

Gwen sank back into the wall, hesitant towards the offer initially. She narrowed her eyes towards where Bridgette stood, cheerfully chatting with Leshawna and Owen while Heather stood off to the side of them, and tilted her head her way, "Wouldn't you rather take Bridgette? I mean, after all of the stuff that happened today?"

To her surprise, the party-animal shook his head at her assumption. "I'd love to take Bridge, for sure," he admitted, "But I'm pretty sure that last thing she'd wanna do is be around the producers after that blow-up. Besides, I talked to her about it already, and she said I should start making things right with everybody else, which, bingo, she's totally right on."

He brought his free hand up to rub the back of his neck, "And, honestly, the first person I wanted to straighten things out with was you. It sucked that I didn't get to hang out with you much this time around, and I wanted to see you again."

The teal-haired teen held onto her doubt while he spoke, but upon hearing what he had to say, her face quickly dropped the act. Once he was done, she caught the look in his eyes and seeing how genuine he seemed, she let out a weary sigh. "I don't know," she mumbled, "Would you really want to risk being seen around me? I'm not exactly the most popular person right now, especially after the show-"
