Me and my Roommate

I stood in the shadows my education in shadows helping me not be detected as I snuck up on the human. I flipped out my ruby knife, a favorite of mine, and took the last few steps to the human. I had gone without blood for six hours and I was starving. I wrapped my arms around the human and put the knife to his throat. I whispered in his ear.
"Shouldn't have aroused Bloody Ruby."
I drove the blade into his throat. He fell to the ground in a heap and I laughed. I knelt down to his neck and put my knife in my black and red boot. I leaned in and bit his neck. Blood flowed into my mouth, so refreshing. Once I was done eating I pulled a cloth out of my pocket and wiped off my mouth. I put my hood on and walked away, causally.
When I got to the weeping willow tree I put my hands on the tree and whispered "make me see the place I am supposed to be ."
The tree revealed a door that I opened and went in, carefully closing the door behind me.  I turned around to see a black and red mansion that was my school. I walked up the staircase being careful to be quiet. No body was out at 3 Am but there were some light sleepers in the dorms. If  I was caught out past curfew again I would have to be used for the others to practice their skills on.
(It doesn't hurt or kill us but it's SO embarrassing)
I quietly opened the door to my dorm. Thinking I was in the clear I went in and closed the door. I turned around and saw my roommate, Rae; also a vampire hybrid, who was sitting on her bed writing in her journal.
"So, who did you kill?"
I rolled my eyes, Rae was such a nosy girl.
"Just a late night snack, you know." I said hanging up my hoodie on the coat hanger by the door.
"Ruby they have blood in the cafe. You don't need to kill people just to eat."
I rolled my eyes, not only was Rae nosy but she was a prim and proper girl. I still don't know why the school wanted to train her. 
Rae jumped off the top bunk and smoothed her deep purple dress.
"Well I'm going to the cafe to get a snack."
I rolled my eyes and walked past her collapsing on the bottom bunk. We all slept in our clothes, you would never know if you needed to leave fast. 

Rae left as loud as a pack of 10 ton elephants. I immediately flipped on my covers and closed my eyes. Sure enough I heard a loud yelling, it was Mrs. Hamadara our weapondry teacher. Rae came back inside our dorm grumbling.
"No wonder you failed Stealth 101."
"Shut up."
I laughed.
"Look who's talking, It's the Sound of Rae."
"Not so stealthy yourself Bloody Ruby."
"I snuck out and back in without getting caught you went two feet and got caught."
"Just promise you won't make it so embarrassing."
"No promises."
