BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP' I groaned and rolled over to switch my alarm off. It was 7 am. I yawned and got up from my bed to brush my teeth, the house was quiet. Grace was obviously not home yet. Grace was my maid, she was here most days and when she wasn't it was just me in this huge house. Let me introduce myself, i'm sara ports. Daughter of mick ports, who is the richest man known in australia. I never see my dad often, and when I do its usually just to join him for his press conferences. After brushing my teeth I washed my face and tied my hair back into a messy bun and made my way downstairs. 'sara?' I jumped and gasped only to realise it was just grace. 'grace! You scared me!' she giggled 'sorry, you goof!' 'i thought today was your day off?' 'it is, I just got a text from your dads agent to drop you off this.' She pointed to a dress shrugged over the lounge covered in plastic to protect it and a note placed on top. I walked over and picked up the note.
'hi sara, tonight theres a dinner party in the middle of the city at grande chractos resturant. Its really important but your dad wont be able to make it so please go to represent him. thanks, alex.'
I groaned and scrunched up the note and threw it across the room. Alex was dads agent, he always expects me to do something for dad, which I didn't mind but he demands it only afew hours notice before the dinner. He annoyed me so much. The dinner parties weren't so bad though, I usually met some famous and wealthy people. but still alex annoyed the hell out of me. I slunched down on the sofa while grace poured me some crunchy nut for breakfast. 'hey cheer up, guess what I found out today!' she said changing the subject to cheer me up. I was about to ask what when I was stunned by the front door being slammed open and angel bursting in, 'ONE DIRECTION ARE IN THE CITY!!' She squealed and raced over to join me on the sofa. 'isn't that exciting!?!?!' She gasped. All I could do was just sit there laughing, angel was my bestfriend of 7 years now, she was beautiful, long blonde hair, blue eyes, tanned and the happiest person you will ever meet. See those pictures of beautiful tumblr girls? They didn't compare to angel. When I gathered my breathe from laughing grace came over and gave me my crunchy nut. 'i was just about to say that. And yes it is exciting!' She said sitting on the opposite couch from me and angel. Angel nodded her head excitedly and let out a high pitched squeal. 'they are touring around australia and made an unexpected stop here!!! But nobody knows why, but as we speak they are shopping where WE have shopped, or walking where WE have walked, or eaten where WE have eat-' 'ANGEL CALM DOWN!' I grabbed her arms and shook her. 'your going to hyperventerlate soon!' Angel just sat there gasping. Grace chuckled and got up from the couch and dissapeared into one of the rooms. Once angel had caught her breathe she started up again. 'sara, how can you not be excited about thi-' she paused when she saw the dress hanging over the sofa. 'another dinner party?' 'yes.' I mumbled stuffing a spoon of crunchy nut into my mouth. 'cheer up sara! Last time you met justin bieber at one of those parties when he was touring australia its exciting!' She was right. It was exciting, it was just the fact that alex acted like he owned me, it bothered me. I was lost in my own thoughts I didnt even realise angel staring at me with her mouth hung open. 'angel...?' 'OMFG SARA!!! YOU MET JUSTIN BIEBER AT ONE OF THOSE DINNER PARTIES.... WHAT IF YOU MEET ONE DIRECTION!?!?!' I bursted out in laughter. 'oh angel, I doubt one direction would come to one of these silly parties.' Angels face went from bright to dull and I felt kind of bad. 'but I promise if I do meet them you will be the first person I introduce them to.' she looked up at me and grinned 'i love you sar!' 'i love you to, I'm going to go lie down before the part tonight, i'll text you later.' 'ok, ring me and tell me all about the party!' 'will do.' I hugged her goodbye, pulled the dress alex had sent me off the $10000 dollar sofa and went upstairs. I sighed, hanging up my new dress in my walk-in-wadrobe and layed back in bed. Usually I would look forward to these dinner parties but today I wasn't really in the mood. I pulled the blanket over me, as I fell asleep I thought about tonight, what it would be like to meet the boys, to meet harry.
