My Warrior

Chapter 1

I woke up and met with Sasha and Connie in the Mess Hall, Sasha was my best friend as well as Connie and as well as Jean despite him being a jerk to all of us at times. Sasha would get up early to find a table since it was always hard to find one whenever you got there late. You'd have to wait until someone was already done.
"Hey Y/N, over here!" Sasha yelled across the room as she waved her hand.
I saw her and Connie and Jean already there.
"Aren't you going to grab anything to eat?" Jean asked.
"I will, just waiting for the line to die down a bit, no way in hell am I waiting in that long ass line."
"Hey guys, since we have the day off, I wanted to invite you guys to my village Rakago." Connie said
"Oh sure! That sounds nice Connie!" Sasha said.
"I'm in." Jean said.
"Let's go." I said.
"Well your not gonna go on an empty stomach aren't you? Look, the line has already died down." Sasha said.
"Okay, I'll quickly grab something to eat and then we will leave."
I was about to grab the last tray that had a bowl of soup, some bread, and some black tea (which was really disgusting and I really don't understand and will probably never understand how Captain Levi could enjoy it) when another hand also grabbed it and I saw a tall figure next to me. It was none other than Bertholdt Hoover.
"Oh sorry Y/N." he said.
"No, it's okay, you can have it."
"N-no you need it. I didn't mean to eavesdrop or anything but I overheard Connie asking you, Sasha, and Jean if you guys wanted to go to his village Rakago. Me and Reiner don't plan on going anywhere, were just going to take our day off to rest."
"You sure?"
"Yeah, take it." he said.
"Thanks Bert"
I grabbed the tray and went back to my friends and wanted to quickly eat so we can go and since I didn't see any steam coming from the soup I thought it had cooled down but the soup said otherwise.
"How do you forget to blow?" Connie asked as I just shrugged.
"How do you do it Sasha?" I asked trying to breathe after having burned my tounge.
"I have my ways." she said.
While I was talking to my friends waiting for the soup to cool down a bit I looked across the room and came across to where Bertholdt and his friend Reiner Braun were sitting and I see the two talking and for some reason Reiner would glance in all directions including the one I was at which I would look away whenever he did. Who know's what the two were talking about, probably a fellow cadet Reiner has eyes for and is making sure no one could hear him.
 

Bertholdt's POV

I didn't want to admit it to Reiner but after I touched Y/N's hand both my hands started sweating. Y/N was always this happy go lucky girl. One day me and Reiner were walking by a river bank and saw her and Sasha fishing and just as we were about to go and join them when we heard Sasha saying she goes crazy for meat because when Wall Maria fell a lot of people would show up at her village Dauper to hunt and it took her chances to find food. Then Y/N spoke up talking about how she despises both the Colossal and Armored Titan for taking her brother, her mother, and her dad although she one time she told us her parents were seperated. And how they both were responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent lives.
"It's just not fair. My mum had plan to open up her own bakery with all the money she had been saving from what they had pay her from the fruit and vegetable stand she worked at and my brother was going to be working for the newspaper. And my dad wanted to build a bigger libary. But those bastards took their dreams away. They took everyone's dreams away. And I don't mean to sound like Eren but..I really hope the day they re-appear should they ever, I too can kill them, especially the colossal asshole."
If only she knew that those disgusting monsters were me and Reiner. That I was the Colossal Titan and Reiner was the Armored Titan.
"Hey." Reiner said.
"Oh sorry, what is it Reiner?"
"Did you see how beautiful Krista looks today?"
"Uh..sorry no." I said.
Reiner has had eyes on Krista but her friend Ymir was always close to her and she found it annoying when Reiner would have long conversations with her. I was focused on something or rather someone else to which Reiner saw who I was starting at.
"Really? First Annie now Y/N?"
"W-what are you talking about?"
"I just saw you staring at Y/N"
"I only look at her for one second and you assume I'm starring at her?"
"Okay you don't stare at her but you admit you stare at Annie a lot?"
"N-no, that's not what I said at all!" I yelled as some people looked at me and I look away trying to hide my embarrassed red face.
"Look whatever, Annie is exceptional but you know you can't get attached to Y/N."
"W-who said anything about me getting attached to her? We only talk a little bit. I really don't know her that much. Besides she's always with Sasha, Connie, and Jean. And maybe if you hadn't notice...it looks like she has eyes for Jean. And I'm a warrior just like you. I know what we have to do.
"Good, let's go find a place where you can get something to eat and then see what we can do from there." Reiner said.
