I didn't know how long I had been driving, but I was starting to feel myself dossing off. I needed to try to find a hotel, so I turned on the next street I came across. The street look very dark, since I was the only car. As I made the turn my headlights shone onto the street sign which read Sullivan Road. I instantly knew that this was not going to lead me where I wanted to go as I got a strange feeling in the pit of my stomach. I was going to try to turn around, but all I saw was straight road ahead of me.
My engine started to make weird noises as the feeling grew until it was screaming GET OFF THIS ROAD! My car completely quit off. I was stopped on this dark road, alone.
I just sat in my car as I thought about what to do. I look over and saw a figure back up into the cornfield, as if hiding. I tried to convince myself that it was dark and I was just imagining things.
I reached for the phone in my pocket and tried to dial a number, but soon realized that I had no service. I reached my arm up to the top of my window and got one bar. I tried to dial a number again but it wasn't enough.
I looked out the window and thought that I would have better reception if I stood out there, but it was too dark. I knew that I needed to call someone or else I would be stuck on this road forever.
I slowly opened the door and got out of the car. I looked around and realized that my car was wedged between a dark forest and a mysterious cornfield. My service didn't get any better, so I figured that I would try again in the morning.
As I was reaching for the handle, I heard the loud breaking of twigs, and it was getting closer. I hurriedly tried to open the door, but it was locked. I went into my pocket for the keys, but they weren't in there. I bent over and saw my keys locked in the car, but as I did, through the passenger side window, I saw what could only be described as a man's bloody face. I looked up, only to find no man on the other side of the car. My shock was interrupted as a twig breaking right behind me.
In panic, I started to run back the way I came. I heard the footsteps following me on the street, but I didn't dare to look back. I kept running and running, I hadn't realized that I had gone this far down the road.
I was forced to stop as a saw a group of at least ten people standing in front of me holding hands in a line. I looked over toward the woods and saw a skull that had clearly naturally grown into the tree.
I knew that I had to look back now. As I did, I saw an all black figure slowly walking toward me from about fifteen feet away.
The figure didn't speak aloud, but somehow I heard words in my head. You can never leave. You belong here now.
I was slowly inclosed by all black figures, and I knew that there was no sense in trying to get away. I just kept hearing those words in my head, but in a million different voices. You can never leave. You belong here now.
