New Start

Naru's POV

How did I end up here? I am gonna score so bad.... I told him I will score good, but now......
Giving a test just to be enrolled in a class where you have to study with the student of the same intelligence as yours.....?! Why is it so necessary?!??

The test was so hard. He will definitely yell at me if I don't get in his class......

When I was lost in these thoughts, someone came and side hugged me.

"Naru-chan! How was the test?"

It is my new friend, Mayura-chan. A happy-go-lucky girl, who has blonde hair which then fades to pastel green at ends. Has ocean blue eyes and natural blush on her cheeks.
She was looking at me with a kind smile hoping to get an answer. I just kept quiet and smiled a sad one.

"Naru, how was the test?"
When I turned to my right, I saw a familiar self. Spiked fuchsia hair, blue azure eyes, a soft expression which probably is seen by people he is close to....
He is like my brotherly figure since I don't have a brother nor does he has a sister since his sister passed away last year......

"Well ...I...." but before I could complete, a tall figure with messy brown hair, whose bangs cover his forehead and two of them cross above his nose, approached me.

"Did you do well?" He asked.

I pursed my lips together, not knowing what to speak. If only I wouldn't have acted of sleeping, I might have been confident to tell him about how was my test.

"I- I don't know...."
I managed to say.

When I stared into his eyes, clear coldness sent chills down my spine. His cold eyes told everything, that he was upset with it.

"If you had studied, would it have ended your life or something?! Seriously Naru, you want me to tell you that I know you were pretending that you were asleep?!"
He nearly yelled, enough loud to startle me, Mayura-chan and Shimon.

Wait-what?! He knew that I was pretending? How come I didn't even get a hint about it.....

"Rokuro... I.. it's just that I am not confident about..........." and my voice died down. "Yeah right! It is me who wants you to score good but you don't care! If you would've studied it would have been better....!" He yelled at me.

I was taken aback by his voice.
"Oh come on Rokuro. It's fine... Our school's entrance test is hard anyways. It is fine. She will score okay..." Said Shimon, taking my side as a brother should.

"It shouldn't be okay to be in our class. It has to be good! If she scores good marks then she will enter in our class or else...
I am leaving. She drives me nuts."

And Rokuro turned around after giving me a cold glare.

Why does he have to be so possessive about it? I mean, in the first place he doesn't need me and wants to hide our relationship. And now he wants me to be in his class....

What kind of drama is this?

Mayura-chan kept her hand on my shoulder and said with a kind smile, " Cheer up. He is just being a little possessive because he thinks that if you are with us, you will be feeling protected."

I didn't understand by feeling protected. What does that mean?

"Let's go and grab our lunch. Shimon, you too." Says Mayura-chan, Shimon nods, so do me.  I walk with Mayura-cham and Shimon wherever they take me to.
