At some points different people are 'talking' you should be able to tell if someone else is talking!
Chapter 1
The way it all began
It was a beautiful day outside like no other, some of my friends and I went outside to ride our bikes up and down the street that I lived on. After about an hour of playing games and riding bikes one of my friends pointed out that there was a big rain cloud coming our way, so we finished our last race and headed to my house which was now a couple blocks away from where we were racing. About 10 minutes later it started to sprinkle, so we started to go faster to my house because we didn't want to get all wet. We all got to my house and went inside, then it started to pour it sounded like it was hailing but it was just raining, it was about an hour later and most of the roads were beginning to flood, so my friends called their parents saying that they're staying the night because my mom didn't want their parents to have to drive through flooded roads. We all settled down and watched a movie then played some more, and then went to bed. In the morning the basement was starting to flood so we had to stop that which took about an hour then we ate breakfast.
"Hey! Look outside" One of my friends shouted
So we all ran to the window and looked outside.
"Wow" A Few of my friends said
"You can't even see the roads anymore!" Another one of my friends pointed out, even though it was quite obvious.
Well i should tell you who my friends are now, I had five friend's with me at this time there is Lyla she likes to kick people in the shins, she plays soccer, she's 11, and she's one of my best friends, there's also Devynn she's nice, annoying, and shares a lot and she is also one of my best friends, there's also Brooke she is very very very annoying, she is also nice though, she likes to blurt things out and is my friend, she hasn't made it to my best friend spot yet, there's also Ellory she is smart, nice, and is THE ONLY ONE WHO ACTS LIKE A NORMAL HUMAN BEING, This is Lyla and Hailey that was mean!, I know that's why I said it, Hehehe, Wow Hailey that's cold, Brooke shut up!, but anyways there's also Olivia, I don't really know much about her but I just get along with her and she's also best friends with Brooke so... yeah. What about me?, oh yeah there's also my sister Alexis but I call her Lexi she is a BUTT FACE, and that's all I have to tell you about her, also she isn't in the story, so she doesnt matter, Wow..., Hehehe. Well back to the story, the roads were flooded and the house was starting to flood so we had to leave, so we went to my neighbor's house which was on a hill so it wasn't flooding yet. Lucky the neighbors were happy to help us they let us in and gave all of us some cookies. They were really good!, stop interrupting me, Brooke! Never!!, fine then do it again and see what happens to you, so we ate some cookies and were playing when the adults got a phone call, the phone call was very important I ask my the neighbor what it was about, but she wouldn't tell me and her husband told all of us to listen to him and he told us what the phone call was about, we went outside and got in the neighbors truck, Tell them what the phone call was about, ok fine the phone call was telling the adults that they have to evacuate instantly before the roads were too flooded for everyone to leave, THERE HAPPY!, Actually yes thank you, yeah whatever, your welcome, so me and my friends got in the neighbors truck and my parents took their car. Almost an hour later we got to the shelter that we were going to stay at for the next few days or weeks we didn't know yet, but we would stay until they got enough trucks to move everyone to a safer place.
