I look down at my hands to find blood. My hands are covered in blood and it's not my own. I look up from my hands to see the cause. A young man stares at me his face twisted in pain as blood pours from a wound in his chest. I look closer and realize that the thing that caused this is still buried in his chest. A long knife with carvings on it of wolves. With no clue what to do I stand there staring at him as the last bits of his life finally drain away leaving a shell in his place. I take deep breaths even though I feel nothing. Nothing at all not even pity for the dead man. I look away and spot someone in the dark watching me. His gold eyes gaze into the darkest depths of my soul. He's a person I know all too well my best friend Raven the one who the knife still buried in the man belongs to. Raven steps from the shadows giving me a twisted smile. I should feel fear but I don't all I feel is nothing. Raven pulls the knife out all the while gazing at me. He cleans the knife and puts it back into his jean pockets. The faint light catches his red hair making those parts look like a bright flame in the night. He takes my hands in his and wipes the blood off.

"We should go before the cops get here," he says in his soft angle like voice. I nod as I hold onto his hand tightly. Raven smiles at me in love as he leads me to our home.

"Raven are you ok?"

"Of course that chump didn't put up much of a fight. I'm proud of you though you took the knife from me and dealt the death blow. Your first kill and yet you don't show any sign of shock or remorse or anything. I couldn't be more proud," Raven says with pride laced in every word he says. I smile happily soaking up all the praise he gives me. I wrap my other hand around his arm making sure we stay close together. His gold eyes look me over and a faint smile tugs at his lips. He leads me down to the basement of his house and lets me in. I let go of him and sit down at my bed looking at him as he lingers at the door.

"We'll be doing this again soon so don't worry my love. To think the first day I brought you here all you could ever talk about is going to home now you never talk about that. I'm proud of you my pet." With those words he shuts the door leaving me in the dark again. I smile happily falling back onto my bed as I daydream about the day I could finally be one with Raven.
