Third Stage

Alexander's P.O.V.

          I was driving really quickly so that we could go home. I hate to admit but we were currently under the great Lucas's protection. Guess like I'll need to take some lessons from him.

          I turned my head and saw Hailey frowning and pouting a little. "What's wrong Hails? You look sad,"I asked."Of course I'm sad! I didn't get to buy any clothes and I'm already running out of them!"

            I gave her the 'Are you serious?'  look and turned my attention to the road.

            As soon as we reached home,my heart started to throb. It was bearable at first but it became more and more painful. It got to the point where I had to hold my head to try and stop the pain. Hailey, noticed it and immediately called for Lucas saying something about a third stage. But I couldn't concentrate. Next thing I knew, I fell into a blanket of darkness.

           When I opened my eyes, I found that I was at the backseat of a car. I quickly sat up and found Lucas and Hailey at the front seat. When Hailey saw me, she said,"How are you feeling Alex?""Wha? What happened?" Hailey sighed and replied,"Your third stage took effect. You were out for 2 hours." "2 HOURS?! But why are we in a car? Where are we going?" This time, Lucas spoke. "We're going to somewhere safer. The high council has already found out our location. The place we are going, they can't enter."

            I slumped against the car seat.We were on the run.Again. How long is this gonna go on? I'm so sick of it. Before I could continue with my train of thoughts, Hailey said,"You should get some rest,you still need to clear your head a bit more." And I didn't argue so,I fell asleep.

Okay, so I'm sorry I didn't update yesterday. I was feeling lazy and thought I would update today. I know in this story,there is a lot of fainting? But it has to happen this way in order for the story to progress. Anyway, I'm gonna apologise for last week's Tuesday. Mainly because I forgot to update and only remebered on Friday so I got Remya to do it. And I know she promised before 2 chapters because she kept forgetting but in the end she also forgot. So I apologise for all of these forgetting updates stuff. Hopefully, you would enjoy today's chapter. Bye!
