It was a sunny,normal and beautiful day when it happened.
I was watering the flowers while my father was repairing his car.I saw him wiping the sweat from his forehead and I smiled a bit.
"Dad,you sure that you don t need help with that spark plug?"
"I m sure"he smiled back.

I turned and looked through the fence and saw some cops running down the street,with guns in hands.My eyes widened as I saw them making their way to our house.
"D-dad"I mumbled but he must ve not heard me because he was attentive with his work.
I saw them coming closer and I gulped.One of them came in our garden and I backed up scared.He looked around,his eyes landing on dad.
"Gilmher Croes?"he yelled and looked down.
Dad quickly stood up .
"That s me"he said
"You are arrested"
"What?"I yelled in anger.
Dad just rose an eyebrow and wiped his hands with a rag.
"Sorry,is this a joke?"he said and looked serious.
"We are totally sure that you robbed a bank"one of the cops said.
"Do  you have any proof?"I yelled
"Shh,not that loud"my dad added
"Yeah,kid"the cop said and I saw him taking from his pocket some photos.The first one was showing a person viewed from the back who was taking some money from the bank.And the other one was with the same person who ran away with the money.
"Who gave you this?"I looked at the cop.

Then I saw someone behind him,someone that I hated so much,someone who was a cunning snake who always came up with lies and convinced people:Matilda.Dad s ex.
I saw a smirk placed on her face and I frowned my eyebrows.
"Matilda?"Dad mumbled in shock as one of the cops handcuffed him.
"Hi babe" she smirked and looked at him.
"I m not your babe!"dad barked at her.
Matilda laughed sarcastically and played with her hair"Long time no see babe.I was just thinking..maybe people could find out what you did recently,right?"
I rolled my eyes as I saw her winking at him.
"Is that a fucking joke?NO.You could make up with a better lie,you could ask me for money,but not -"
"Shut up man!"the cop yelled and pushed him to the police car .
"Don t hurt my dad"I yelled in tears
Dad looked up at me and sighed
"Just take care of yourself,and I ll always think of you"he smiled and I cried more.
"I ll come visit you everyday after school daddy "I said between tears.

"Enough with this sweet words kid"the cop said and got in the car and started driving.
I kicked some rocks with the foot and fell on my knees.This was not possible.
Matilda stood in front of me and just stared.
"Go away!You always ruined the joy from our house"I said and cried more
"Listen slut,I want your dad to be mine again,understood?I ll do it until he will accept.With every chance that I have.So you better talk to him about this aspect "she added
"Fuck off!I m not a slut and dad will never be yours .Don t make me talk about the fact that you aborted ten times till now because you only want to fuck"I said and made my way to the house
"Just-"she said but I slammed the door in front of her.I hoped that she could die in the worse ways someone could ve.
