Jane's pov

When the two guys that adopted me made sure I was safely in their car, the dark haired one jumped in the driver's seat and the blonde one sat beside me in the back.

"You're going to love our house, Jane. It's got a big backyard. Of course, there's nothing back there but a swimming pool but maybe we can get you a swingset."

"And one of those pink barbie jeeps. You think she'd like one of those, J?"

"I don't know. Maybe."

We pulled into the driveway of a big house.

The blonde guy unbuckled my seatbelt and helped me out of the car while the brown haired one inlocked the door.

"Feel free to go explore the house. Jack and I are going to go fix up one of the upstairs bedrooms for you."

I nodded and slowly made my way into the house and walked around downstairs.

After a while, I got tired so I layed down on the couch in the living room.

Jack J's pov

I walked back into the living room from making Jane some lunch in the kitchen to find Jane asleep on the couch.

I went back to the kitchen to tell Jack we could start her room.

"G, we should set up a room for her. She can't sleep on the couch since she's going to live here."

"What did you have in mind, J?"

"Well, why not paint the walls a light blue and then just get a few darker blue decorations to put some contrast in the room?"

"That's a great idea. But she'll also need a bed."

"True. Let's call the guys."

Shawn's pov

I got a cal from Jack J asking for help with something important so I jumped in my car and got to the Jacks' house as quickly as I could.

I ran in quickly.

"Jack!"

"Shh! Jane's sleeping."

"Jane?"

I looked at Cameron.

"Who's Jane?"

"J's new daughter."

"What?"

"J adopted a little girl today."

"Oh."

"Yeah. I did. Guys, come upstairs for a second."

"Ok."

We all followed Jack J upstairs to the room at the end of the hall.

"G and I want to make this room Jane's. But we need your help. Please?"

"Of course we'll help. If she's your daughter, she can't live on your couch."

"He said the same thing, Shawn."

I noticed Taylor roll his eyes at J's request. But I didn't pay any attention to it.

We got to work on making a plan for Jane's room. I went and bought the furniture and Cameron bought a laptop. G went to buy rugs for Jane's bedroom floor. Nash and Hayes went to pick up Hayes' girlfriend so they could buy Jane some clothes and shoes. The rest of the guys painted her room.

After several hours, everything was done.

"She's going to love it."

The walls were light blue and everything else was white and various shades of blue.

She now had a closet full of clothes and shoes and a desk with a laptop. Cameron had even bought her a laptop.

(Yes I know the room in the picture is purple but Jane's is blue. This is just what it looks like.)

"Well, when she wakes up, we'll all show her."

"Ok."

Jack J's pov

We were all watching a movie when Jane woke up.

"Hey, princess. My friends and I have a surprise for you."

"W-what?"

I saw Jane's expression quickly turn to one of fright.

"Oh. No. I didn't mean.....I just meant you have your own room now. Do you want to see it?"

Jane nodded her head and I picked her up. I carried her up the stairs and down the hall to her room.

I opened her door and set her down.

She ran into her room and I saw her smile for the first time since we adopted her today.

"I love it! It's blue!"

"Well, your friend Hannah said blue was your favorite color."

Jane ran over to her bed and struggled to get on it so I helped her up.

"It's so comfy!"

We all laughed with her.

"Well, I think it's time for dinner. Why do you explore your room and we'll go make dinner."

"Ok."

I kmew I never wanted to see that little girl cry ever again and swore to myself that I'd do whatever it would take to keep that beautiful smile on her face.
