This book is inspired by the story of the people who battled with depression but never won.
Many people still think that mental illness is not a 'real thing'. But it's there and it's haunting beautiful souls here and there. In fact, The suicide rate reached 1.4% of all deaths last year with a minimum of 5000 deaths each year but I believe that we could get that scary number down just with a little change, one step at a time.
Socrates said "those who are hardest to love, need it the most."
Their struggle is real, and they deserve a chance and help so let's be the ones who help those in desperate need of more care and understanding. Therefore, I'm writing this and my intention is to spread awareness and help those who do not know much about it or those who know someone who has it because if we understood what goes on through their minds maybe we could save them.
On a serious note, If you doubt that someone you know has depression or you noticed strange behaviours from them don't hesitate to ask for help as you may be their only hope to survive it.
Thanks you.
