It's been 3 months since J proposed to me and I'm still happy. I got to know his- OUR new P.A , Tiana, and we became great friend, but she could never replace Jacki. I started to notice my body was changing. I would avoid all the foods I usually would eat and started to eat more of the foods I wouldn't. J notice this too and told me to go to the doctors, but I told his it was probably period cravings. Then I started to throw up at random times. At work, in the middle of the night and so on. I knew something wasn't right, so I made a doctors appointment.
Two days later I went to my doctors and I was very anxious to see what was going on. "Marie Martinez" My doctor looked at my, I got up to walk to the back room. (A little skip cuz I'm lazy) she ran some test and said she would be back. About 5-6 minutes later she came back. "Give it to me straight doc, what's wrong?" I asked nervous. "It's not bad at all. Congratulations Maria, you're pregnant" she told me with joy "OH MY GOD!! I'm gonna be a mom" I cheered, but what am I gonna tell J? We just got engaged 3 months ago and we're running a company. I wasn't gonna tell him just yet.
"Maria I'm gonna make you an appointment for a few weeks from now and congratulations again" my doctor said "Okay and thank you" I smiled. As I walked to my car I thought of how I was gonna tell J we were expecting a baby. Would he get mad and break the engagement off? Or would he be happy to be a father? All theses random thoughts ran through my head on the way home. I reached out penthouse building and took a few breaths before going up to the apartment. "Hey Love, how did it go" Jack asked me. "It was fine. I told you it was just period cravings and the throwing up was just my body now getting use to me eating those foods I don't eat" I lied. "Alright Love let's go to bed" J said.
I had to go to the bathroom as soon as we got to our room. I did my business, washed my hands and walked out.

J looked at me as I walked out the bathroom. "What's wrong babe?" I asked "Your doctor called about a pregnancy appointment on the 5th" J said. I instantly became a nervous wreck. "Must've been a mix up then" I said looking down. "Babe are you pregnant?" Jack asked. "No" I said a little too quickly. "I know you're lying, because you do that thing were you put your hair behind your ear and bite your lip" J said. I never noticed but now my secret was out.
"Yes J, I'm pregnant" I said without looking at him. " Were you gonna tell me?" He asked sounding sad. "Of course, I was just waiting for the right moment, because we just got engaged three months ago and we're running a company together, so I panicked and wasn't going to tell you right away" I said with tears in my eyes. " Mi amore, I want to have a baby with you of course, but if your not ready, then I'll wait" J said as he lifted up my chin. I smiled a little. "I want to baby with you too and I'm ready believe me" I stated "We're gonna be parents then, I can't wait Love" Jack chuckled and gives me a quick kiss. "I want to come to all future appointments" "What about" but I was cut off "We're the bosses, we do whatever we want Love" he smiled. "I love you Jack King" I love you too future Mrs.King" he said while giving my lips a peck. "Let's go to bed now, this baby is making me tired" I joked as I yawned. We got in bed and cuddled together knowing we'll be future parents.
