42. Big Brother and Sister (Fluff)

Omegaverse AU, Lance is the omega and Keith is the Alpha. In many omegaverses, knowing your second gender is at birth because they are born with the symbols of their second gender. This is how this story is in this chapter!

Lance and Keith are peacefully asleep on this very white Christmas morning, the two are silently sitting in front of the tree all cuddled up, and watching it go from dark to light outside. Lance knows Keith is going to love the family gift that Lance is going to give his family. What's the gift you may ask? 

Well, Lance is pregnant with their third child. 

He's making it a big deal since he got seriously injured during an accident at work. The doctor had said he might not be able to get pregnant ever again and that his heats would be super irregular. But, ever since the accident, his heats were the same and now he's pregnant with their third child. 

He's really excited to tell everyone, he knows his daughter Isabella, who's the youngest so far has been asking for another sibling. His oldest son on the other hand, Carlos doesn't really like younger children at the moment. He's during a phase where he just doesn't want more siblings. But Lance knows that his son will grow to love his siblings. He sees Carlos being more protective over his omegan sister, he takes really good care of her. Lance smiles and nuzzles into Keith, he honestly can't wait, but he has to. He wants it to be a surprise. 

The clock turns seven and everyone comes out of their rooms. Keith has Shiro's family over at their house to spend Christmas. The two smile as their children come sit on the floor in front of them, "It's uncle Shiro's turn this year." Lance says and the kids nod and turn to their uncle. Shiro chuckles and moves to sit under the tree. "Remember stockings first." Carlos smiles brightly, Shiro nods and takes a hold of Isabella and Carlos' stockings and hands it to them. The kids rip through all of the candy and small gifts. Everyone chuckles as they open their stockings, Lance opens his and find a new collar. He smiles and goes to his room to unlock the collar he's wearing and places the new one on his neck. He smiles and heads back to sit beside his mate. 

"Thank you babe, I love it." Lance kisses his mate's cheek and motions Keith to open his. He does so and pulls out a watch, a very expensive one. Keith's eyes widen and he pulls Lance into a hug. Lance chuckles, "Trust me babe, there's a better gift in this room for you. No need to get emotional now." Everyone chuckles and Lance gives Shiro the okay to start handing out gifts. 

Every large gift that was under the tree is now open and Lance takes this opportunity to tell everyone. "Wait! I have a gift for everyone let me go get it!" Lance stands up and runs into his room. He unzips his sweater and places a bow on his stomach and he zips it up again and he goes back out into the living room. Everyone is looking at their gifts again and he decides to stand in front of the tree. 

"So, my gift didn't come in time so I'm just going to tell you right now." Lance chuckles and everyone looks at him with anticipation. "So, it's going to take nine months to get here so I hope you're patient." Lance chuckles as he unzips his sweater and Keith freezes. Lance nervously bites his lip, everyone goes quiet in the room. "What mommy?" Isabella asks, breaking the silence in the room. Lance chuckles and picks her up. "Mommy is having a baby, Isabella." He kisses her cheek and Keith gets up with tears going down his cheeks. He brings Lance and his daughter into his arms and he kisses Lance's forehead. Carlos sits there with tears going down his cheeks, Carlos knew his mother's situation. He overheard his parent's conversation after the accident happened.

The only reason why he hated younger children is because he knew his mother couldn't have children anymore. Carlos is the first one to hug his mother after his father and his sister finally let go of him. Lance looks at his son with shock, he still pulls his son into a hug. "I'm so happy." His son cries into his chest, Lance finally has tears going down his cheeks as his son cries. He never felt so relieved, "I'm happy that you're happy." Lance pet the back of his son's head. Keith smiles at his mate and his son interact, he can't help but be happy. 

After Carlos finally stops crying, Shiro brings Lance into a hug. "Miracle child." He whispers into Lance's ear. Lance smiles and nods into Shiro's shoulder. "It really is." Lance pulls away and wipes his tears. Lance turns to his mate with a smile, everyone starts to calm down. "Lance, you and Keith can go rest in your bedroom. My parents and I can clean up and start preparing dinner, be ready by 3:30." Shiro says and they both smile at the three. Lance and Keith stayed up till 4 this morning wrapping presents for everyone and they bought a lot of gifts so there was a lot to wrap. "Thank you, we'll be going to take a nap." Keith says and he links his hand with Lance's, they make their way to their bedroom where the two climb into bed together. Keith takes Lance into his arms and places a hand on Lance's stomach. 

"You don't know how happy I am right now." Keith whispers, Lance chuckles but nuzzles into the pillow. "I know, when I went to the doctor's the other day I was shocked but happy." Keith nuzzles into Lance's hair. "I'm honestly so surprised, the doctor said there was no chance of you getting pregnant again." Lance grimaces but relaxes again, "I know, the doctor did a full check he other day. He said that this pregnancy looks like it's going to go well! He didn't see any problems." Lance moves to face Keith, "So we have no worries." Keith has tears going down his cheeks at this great news. "Perfect." Keith kisses his mate passionately, Lance kisses back then pulls away. "I love you." Keith smiles and closes his eyes, "I love you too." Lance closes his eyes after and they both drift off to sleep. 

One set of family know, now everyone else now needs to know!
