Your POV
It had been a while since you'd had any connection with your brother, who was studying at the local university. So you and your parents took a mini-vacation to go visit him on campus for a few days. When you got back to the mansion and opened the door, you were in shock.
On the floor was an older female duck with pilot goggles and a scarf sitting on the floor, rolling a pair of dice. Next to her was a teenage duck with pink dye in her feathers, and next to her was a hummingbird who looked like she was trying to calculate some angles. Webby was cheering as the older duck threw the dice. "Yes! Perfect double sixes! Beat that!" She exclaimed. All of a sudden, Webby noticed you and gasped.
"(Y/N)!!!!" She squealed as she hugged you tightly and dragged you inside. "You made it back! How was your trip? TELL ME EVERYTHING!!!!"
"Um, first, can you introduce me to these people?" You asked, gesturing to all the girls sitting on the floor.
"Oh, yeah!" Webby beamed. "This is Lena," She said, pointing to the teenage duck.
"Hey," She said. "Wait a second-" She tackled you to the ground and you tried your best to keep her from pinning you down. "You! What did you do with Webby?!" She asked enraged.
"Lena, relax! This is (Y/n). She moved to Duckburg a while back, but her house burned down, so now she's living with us," Webby explained. She got off of you and helped you up.
"Oh. Sorry," She said while rubbing her arm.
"It's okay," You replied. "Those were actually some really good fighting skills!"
"Thanks," She blushed. You looked at her arm and noticed a friendship bracelet, just like Webby's on it.
"Wait, are you the Lena? The one that sacrificed herself to save Webby?" You asked in shock.
"Uh, yeah?" She answered, confused. You put your hand on her shoulder.
"You're more of a friend to Webby than I ever was," You said, tears welling up slightly in your eyes.
"Well, I don't know about that-" She started.
"This is all very sentimental, but can we please continue the current endeavor of our game? I was about to roll," the hummingbird said.
"Oh, yeah. Also, this is Violet," Webby told you while pointing at the hummingbird. She stood up and shook your hand.
"Felicitations," She said. "I see that you've befriended Webbigail as I have. I look forward to conversating with you perhaps later on."
"And likewise to you as well, my companion," You replied. Her eyes widened.
"Impressive grammatic knowledge," She nodded. "Tonk'peh nam-tor du kup tor stariben ek'aribenik vuhlkansu?" She asked.
"Indeed i mokuhlek, katravahsu trekkie. Na' kim-shah, tra' nam-tor ein-veh else vi ken-tor wuh k'lek shid t' sviribaya isha myself," You smirked. She beamed.
"Finally, indeed," Violet said as she shook your hand again, this time grinning. The other woman and Webby were staring at you awkwardly.
"Well that happened," Webby stated. "And finally, this is Della Duck," She pointed at the older woman. You gasped.
"The Della Duck?!" You asked in shock. "I thought that Scrooge said you got lost in space!"
"Well, I found a way to fix up the spear and get 'er back home," She said, leaning on the living room dresser. All of a sudden, what seemed to be her right leg fell off. You screamed. "It's okay!" She said. "It's just a robotic leg. My real one's somewhere on the moon." She stuck it back on and twisted it tightly. It flipped up and down before setting back down on the ground
"That's amazing!" You exclaimed. "Did you use that out of the spare parts?"
"You know it!" She grinned. "Hey, you know what'd be cool? If I take you girls out for ice cream. You earned it." You fell down on your knees.
"You have earned my full respect," You whisper-praised. "Let's do it! Right after the game is over."
"It already is," Violet declared. "I did the math, and Lena would've won anyway." She smiled. "And yes, I'd like to go for some sherbert." You told your parents about the plan, and they let you go with Della supervising. As you walked out of the mansion's doors, you had a feeling these would be even greater new friends than before.
