I wrote this for school so its probably really short lol just thought id post it
chapter 1
I walked through the shadowy halls my long blue hair in front of my eyes. Looking behind me as the darkness engulfs the hallways behind me, my combat boots splashing against the squishy substance on the floor. Where Is Jinx and Jake? That's what my brother- Andy and I are trying to find out.
My brother and I are normal mortal people. Can you guess what we are? No? Well I'm a witch and, Andy is a hybrid; which means he is half vampire and half werewolf. Jinx and Jake are just vampires.
"Ashely can you do a locater spell? That's our best way of finding out where the hunters have taken them."
"I can try brother but it may not be as accurate." I reply. I sit down on the floor with my grim war spell book. "In this hour I call upon this midnight hour, to lead us to the people we desire." I chant this over and over until bright flames come up from the hard tile floors, I throw a talisman in and then I say "The people we need are Jinx and Jake Pitts!" I screamed. The fire darkened to a dark blood red. "Follow the fire Andy it will lead us to where they are." I screeched sprinting just behind the fire, my brother catches up easily.
Damn my brother and his vamp speed. It's really no fair eh? Oh well.
"Look through the gymnasium door!" Andy whispered. "There's someone on the other side of the door and I think it's one of the hunters."
Perks of being a vampire are: having super excellent hearing, being able to live forever and basically being invincible. Well except for you can be killed by being staked, or getting your heart ripped out. Gross!
"I'll do a simple silencing spell." Basically it silences all of your senses like hearing, seeing, touching and tasting stuff like that but it doesn't work on witches, unless they're bad witches. Yeah I know not that sophisticated language what can I say I'm new to this witch stuff. "Come on I did the spell." All Andy did was nod.
We walked quietly towards the door, just the quiet clicks of my boots on the hall. Why did this happen? Like seriously why now would the hunters decide to hunt us now? They haven't been seen in years and now they decide to turn up. There where legends that the hunters where created to take away the creatures of the night because they were deadly, no pun intended and that they were not meant to exist that they were an abomination to mankind.
On the other side of the door was a guy who had long black hair and brown eyes he was shorter then Andy, Andy is so unbelievably tall he's like a giant also his piercing blue eyes can make anyone wonder if he's even real.
Its CC one of my friends from school! CC stands for Cristian Coma, What the heck is he doing here! Wait, what that means I took away all his senses. Oops. Well at least we didn't hurt him right? "Andy don't even think about attacking him, he's harmless, literally but also he's my friend." I say looking towards CC. I can tell Andy's suspicious because CC is here, none the less he also is wearing a black leather jacket and black jeans, and he has a witch's talisman. I see it right on his wrist it's a black and red cross like mine actually exactly like mine.
"Alright but you might want to take off the spell because he looks pretty annoyed." Andy chuckled. "You know it's pretty funny that CC is annoyed with us when it's normally us that's annoyed with him isn't that comical?" Rolling my eyes, I take off the spell with the wave of my hand.
"You know Andy even though she took my senses away I can still hear what you're saying so ha-ha very funny Mr. Hybrid, I can just as easily do the exact same to you. He glared at Andy, my brother just slowly backed away considering what CC could do to him. He seemed pretty petrified if you ask me. It's abnormal to see my brother hide from a witch or warlock whatever you call us.
"CC have you seen Jinx and Jake? We are searching for them they were taken by hunters, will you help us? We need all the power we can get." I said telepathically. All he did was give a small smile and laughed. "Of course I will help you, why do you think I'm even here?" He replied. Andy looked clueless. "Andy, Ashely and I were talking telepathically. So don't look at us like were insane." CC snickered. Andy just nodded his head.
"Hey what are you three doing in here, especially you hybrid!" One of the hunters yelled. "Hunters get down here we have trouble!" One of the guards came up to stake Andy.
CCs eyes started glowing pastel red fire shot up and started swirling around Andy like its shielding him. I started chanting. Hunters are trying to stop me from the spell I'm doing I threw their own sword right back at them, the wind started howling books and whatever was in the room was in the air, CC joined in on the chant.
Jinx and Jake ran into the room and threw the hunters to the other side of the room away from us. They went to Andy. Everything was like a tornado terminating everything in its path.
CC and I started to levitate rain pouring down on us. My eyes going different colors hair going in separate directions. The hunters were weak from the spell we did you can tell just by looking at them.
"Jinx, Jake are you guys ok?"
"Yeah were ok, now pass us those sword so we can end these jerks eh?" Jake whispered.
I threw them the swords and they put the swords straight through their hearts. Every one of the hunters is deceased. They are never coming back. Supernatural creatures are safe. We can live our lives knowing that we are safe.
