It's been 5 years since I married the love of my life August. We havent really spent time with each other on our anniversary because we be so busy with our jobs and other things.

Tonight I was going to make August favortie dish and put on a little show tonight. We do not have any kids, and you be surprise how much of a freak August really is and we dont have none.

August told me he didnt have to work late tonight. Let me tell you how August didnt even say Happy Anniversary, I bet you, he is going to say "I thought it was next week". I brushed it off thinking maybe he was going to surpise me so we will see when he gets home.

I cannot believe I am going home late. My boss be on my ass with these paper works. My assistant Darnell came in my room to cheer me up. You see Darnell and I been friends forever. He was my best man in my wedding and I was his in his wedding. He has so many beautiful children, it dont make no sense.

Derricka and I have no children, but there will be some popping out soon.

"What you get Derricka?" Darnell asked me. "What you mean? why am I buying her something today?" I looked at him confused. He just shook his head at me in disappointment. "Did I missed the memo or something?" I asked. Darnell looked at me like I was really crazy. "Did you forget today was your 5th wedding anniversary" he said.

I looked at him like I didnt understand American, I looked at my calender and there it was, a big ass heart with "5th Ann" written in the middle of it. How could I be so clueless on this special day. "Yo, I thought it was next week" I told him. "Well you only got an hour left of work so hurry and try to make it better." Darnell said leaving my office.

Damn is all I can say right now, I wonder how she is feeling at the moment.

It's 12:15 Am, who am I kidding, he totally forgot about anniversary, I blew out the candles and left our food sitting there. At this point, I do not know how I feel about August. I love him to death, but to forget about this day really hurt me.

I took a glass of wine and went into the back yard to chill. Few tears came down my face and I quickly wiped them away because I dont wanna show no emotion once that so called husband of mines come home.

I remember I bought a diamond ring and it is sitting in my closet. We talked about renewing our vows when this day came. I may have forgotten it but I have something to cheer up. She might argue me down but thats okay.

I know my wife and she'll let it go. Once I arrived at the house I saw flower petals all over the floor leading me to kitchen where I saw my favorite dish sitting there getting cold and candles mustve been blown out. I really did fucked up.

I went into the back where I found Derricka, and she just laid there with her sexy ass outfit. She looked at me and rolled her eyes. She got up and took her glass with her.

"I am sor-" I tried to finish my sentence but I was cut off. "Save it August. You forgot our anniversary. Thats nothing new," She said walking in the house. Don't get me wrong, I love her but what does she mean this is nothing new?

"I never forgot nothing but this day. Don't try to put no shit on me like that." I screamed at her.

"This is not your first time you forgot about me. The woman you made a promise to be wih forever." she said. Why she gotta be so damn dramatic. "Tell me what else I forgot." I said irritated.

"You forgot about my birthday two weeks ago, you never once said Happy birthday to me. I figure you forget about our anniversary. I am very hurt for what you did." She yelled at me. Now I'm doing a horrible job being her husband. I didnt say nothing to her, she broke down and started crying.

I carried her upsairs to our room and laid her on our bed then went into the closet to get something. she sat up on the bed and I came out the closet. I got on one knee and showed her what I had in stored for her.

"Derricka, I know we made plans to renew our vows and that's probably the last thing on your mind at this point. I am truly sorry that I missed your birthday and our anniversary. I feel like I am a bad husband and friend to you. You know you mean the world to me and I would not be the person that I am today without you. I love you so much and I will do anything for you for the rest of m,y life. Will you marry me again?" I said all in one breathe.

She smiled, and shook her head yes very fast. I put the ring on her finger and started kssing her. I laid her back and started leaving kisses everywhere on her body and took off her clothes with one movement.

I just missed being inside of her so I just quickly got in my position and slid right in. I was stroking her good to the point she was going to squirt everywhere but I wanted her to hold it so I did slow strokes every other stroke.

We made love throughout the night and we was knocked out by 5:45 Am. She should be good until the next time we do it. Goodnight !!
