EXT. A quiet French graveyard at dusk. The sky is a dull gray and rays of sunshine peak through the clouds, illuminating the gravestones giving the scene an almost haunted aesthetic.

It had been almost 40 years since the famous accident at the Palais Garnier... Few people remembered that day, and what they did remember usually came from second hand stories past down from those who were actually there. The original group that had the misfortune to have witnessed it, were either dead or close to passing onto the other side.

No one really knew what had happened that night, confusion and chaos gripped the hearts of the audience and the cast. A falling chandelier, cries of hysteria, a girl, and a phantom...

The graveyard was usually silent during this time of day, creatures had already come out of hiding, and the cool autumn dusk began to set in. A shadowy form of a tall dark figure made its way through the cemetery, almost gliding, like a ghost through the rows of monuments and headstones. The man had one goal in mind, find the resting place of Christine Daae...

He held two things in his hands, in his right he held a single red rose with a black bow tied around the stem, and in his left he held a precious diamond ring. The gentleman had been here before and he moved with determination and certainty to his destination.

Once he reach the grave of Madame Christine Daee de Changy, he knelt down head lowered.
