Chapter 1

Louis and Vincent Fellows death came as a shock to many people, not least themselves. One minute they were seen getting in a taxi outside Dublin airport after a long business trip to Siberia, the next minuet they were seen smashed to the windscreen of the cab and sprawled across the pavement with shattered bones and punctured lungs, very, very dead. It was a tragic loss they both thought to themselves as they faced their own deaths.

It was exactly two years, five months and fifteen days after the death of her dear parents that Lillian Fellows first caught sight of the tall, broad gentleman in the exquisite suit. The strange man was perched upon the wall of the graveyard where her darling parents crushed remains were buried, right around the corner of her home.

The cold October air blew Lillian's dark, wavy mane of hair into her pale face as she stood surveying the strange man. He striked her as odd the instant she saw him as not many people ever came to this graveyard, let alone men in exceptional suits in the late evening and the fact that he was sitting upon a wall like a small child came as a bit of a shock too. The dark haired beauty tried to ignore him all the same.

Lillian sat upon a gravestone, rubbing her fingers over the rough surface of the stone and lit herself cigarette, inhaling deeply. Although she tried not to smoke this was a very stressful time and, quite frankly, she thought she deserved it. As she was on her third drag the strange suited man started wandering over before he stopped in front of her. Only then was she able to truly admire all of him.

Unashamed, Lillian openly took him in. He stood tall and broad, his shoulders filling out his dark navy pinstripe suit to perfection. She could make out his well sculptured arms inside his fitted jacket and they looked as if they could probably crush her easily. He wore white gloves that you would see on a man from the eighteenth century. His skin was perfect and smooth, tanned like he had spent a lot of time in the sun. It was his slight eight o'clock shadow that made him look move laid back but otherwise he looked immensely well kept. His high cheekbones were so sharp they looked like mere slashes in his skin as if you could almost slice skin off just by touching them and his full lips were turned up in a deep smirk. All though he was extremely handsome it was the eyes set perfectly under his well-styled head of medium brown hair and perfect eyebrows that caught her attention the most. They were both completely different in colour, one as sliver as the moon and the other a sea green so beautiful that jewels would envy its beauty and she felt as if his eyes were almost piercing her soul. She felt naked under his gaze as if every thought, every desire of his was on display for him to read.

The strange man cleared his throat, pulling Lillian from her daze and she felt a blush crawl up her neck and heat swim in her cheeks. She couldn't believe her actions; she had never reacted to a man that way before, epically a complete stranger.

"Smoking's a very dangerous thing to do if you didn't already know, my dear." His voice was soft yet firm and it melted over her ears like honey. There was a hint of an accent behind his tone, one that Lillian couldn't place. His voice hinted amusement and Lillian could feel shivers run down her spine and a feeling of need ball in her stomach, a feeling she had never experienced before.

Swallowing her embarrassment and the strange feeling of longing she felt she replied, "So is talking to strangers or did you mother never tell you that? For all you know I could be a vicious serial killer, sweetheart." She practical sneered, highly annoyed that she was being given out to by a total stranger, and even if that stranger was one of the most gorgeous men she may have ever seen.
