Fight with Luke

Luke- You came home after a tough day at work. Things just hadn’t been going your way and everything you tried to do to fix it was failing. One girl at work had it in for you since the day you started, you didn’t know what it was but she hated you. You’d tried everything to get along with her, you talked to her, you were kind and polite, and you were never rude to her. However, it didn’t matter how much you tried, she still didn’t like you. When you arrived home, you noticed Luke wasn’t back either. You knew he’d been at the studio all day so you didn’t think too much of it. You made yourself a cup of tea and sat down in front of the TV. You couldn’t wait to just relax after being on your feet all day. You’d been up since 7:00am so at 11:45pm it wasn’t a surprise when you found yourself dosing off on the sofa. However, your peaceful sleep you had been so longing throughout the day was soon disturbed when Luke stumbled through the door at just gone midnight. You got up to see if he was ok and walked through to the kitchen where he had gone. “Hi Luke” you said in your most cheery voice, trying to mask the fact that you were annoyed he never called you or sent you a quick text. To your disappointment, he shrugged you off and walked towards the stairs. “Luke” you said again trying to get his attention, “what?” he replied. “Luke it’s gone midnight, a quick phone call would have been nice to say where you were!?” “What’s it to you anyway?” he said, this just really pissed you off, you were his girlfriend, of course it meant something to you. “Luke, I’m your girlfriend, a simple explanation of where you’ve been would be nice?”, the anger was now growing in your voice as you were becoming more annoyed at how ignorant he was being. “I don’t want to talk about this right now, I think it’s time we both went to bed”. “Discuss what Luke? There’s nothing to talk about if you just told me where you’ve been?”. To be honest, you didn’t really want to talk to Luke right now, you were tired and just wanted to go to bed but you weren’t backing down now. “You have to know every detail of my life don’t you (Y/N)? Where I’ve been, what I’m doing, who I’m with!?” Luke retorted. “Luke, I only wanted to make sure you were ok, because I care about you”. You were so close to bursting into tears now but you managed to hold it together as the last thing you wanted to do was have a meltdown in front of Luke.  “I was out clubbing ok, I didn’t want to tell you because I knew you wouldn’t like it, but I was only out with the lads and I only had a couple of drinks. Happy now?” Before you could help yourself, a hot tear ran down your face and the lump in your throat turned it to sobs as you started full on crying. “Oh no, (Y/N), please don’t cry, I hate it when you cry. I’m so sorry, we’d just had a hard day in the studio so we thought we’d go and have some fun. It was stupid for me not to call you and I should have done, I’m sorry. I love you (Y/N).” He walked over to hug you, and you buried your head in his chest. “I’m sorry to Luke, I shouldn’t have overreacted like that.” With that, he lifted your chin up to look and him, and he moved his face closer to yours. Your lips moved in sync as perfectly as they always did and with that, you knew you had both forgiven each other.
