This is a rewrite of my previous story that suddenly disappeared. I hope this 1 doesn't.
I don't own RWBY, only rooster teeth trademarks them,
In a theater with a couch, armchairs & a table full of snacks. A portal appears above it & team RWBY falls in landing on the couch.
Ruby: where are we?
Yang: what the heck!?
Weiss: I demand to know where we are & why we landed on an incredibly soft couch.
Blake: there's also snacks in front of us. (Looks around) where in a theater?
Jing (appears behind the couch): hello team RWBY! (The girls scream in surprise) sorry, my name is Jing, an author mage. I have brought you all here to watch another version of yourself in this theater. & before you can ask Weiss I got permission to hold time in your world so you don't have to miss school/have your friends & family panic at your sudden disappearance.
Weiss: you brought us here to watch another version of ourselves? Is this a joke?
Jing: no its not. This version of yourselves are out of character, childish & funny. Pls watch it I went through so much trouble getting permission to have you guys watch these & they will help you in a few future events.
Ruby: well I guess we should watch. (Her team looks at her) what? She went through a lot to get us here & if what she say is true it may help us with any future events.
Yang: but how can we trust you?
Jing: I'm not allowed to kill/bully you all. I'm better than that bonehead Cardin. You won't regret this.
Weiss (sighs): fine I guess we can stay. I just hope it's worth it though.
Jing: you won't regret it. (Takes out a remote & plays the 1st episode) now let's watch!
As music plays in a white screen the word 'CHIBI' falls down. Then ruby's crest falls to its left and the word 'RWBY' falls on top of the word 'CHIBI'. Team RWBY appears behind the title. Ruby to the left behind her crest waving cutely. Weiss appears above the crest waving her hair & looking at the audience. Blake appears above 'RWBY' casually looking at the audience. & yang jumps out behind 'CHIBI' on her right leaning on the title.
Ruby: awe look at us! Were all so cute!
In the kitchen ruby is ready to bake some cookies. She has all the ingredients on the kitchen counter top.
Ruby: yay cookies!
Yang: kinda reminds me when you were 5.
Ruby tries to break the egg near the bowl but it won't crack. She's confused & hits it harder. She gets angrier & just throws it in the bowl. At least it broke.
Yang (giggles): whoa, now that a hard egg to crack.
Ruby: yang! That's mean!
Weiss: there better not be egg shells in the batter.
Ruby pours the flour but nothings coming out. She stands up above the bowl trying to pour the flour. The flour comes out fast surprising ruby making a dust cloud & when the dust clears she's dizzy.
Blake: so baking is not very easy. It's difficult.
Jing: yeah ruby is having a hard time baking it's kinda funny.
Ruby holds a bag of chocolate chips. She takes 1 & eats it. She blinks & looks at the bag before smiling. She starts to eat the chips. Around the kitchen & outside near the window.
Yang (laughs): this happened before.
Ruby: yang!
Ruby starts to mix the bowl but the spoon won't budge. She can't even remove it from the bowl. She stands on the counter & tries to pull. But her hands slip through the spoon & launch herself to the wall, the flour was pushed off the counter by friction & fell on the floor. She tries to push the spoon but got leap to the other side. She tries to kick it but pauses & falls. She raise her head to glare at the bowl.
Weiss: well there's only 1 explanation for this. Yang stop laughing. She used the wrong ingredients.
As the cookies bake in the oven ruby is in the sink pouring the chocolate chips in her mouth.
Blake (giggles): I know those are good ruby but let everyone else use them for baking.
A glass of milk stands alone on the counter, ruby appears with a cookie & tries to dunk it but failed. She tries to push the cookie in but it's no use. Ruby wails in defeat falling to the floor. The glass of milk follows.
Yang (laughs): the cookies too big/the glass is too small.
Ruby (eating a cookie fir comfort): yang stop laughing at me.
The rest of their team mates shock their heads & only smiled.
There is a poster of a tailless donkey on the wall. Weiss is launch & pokes the wall with myrtenaster. She is blind folded as well. Ruby said she miss & Weiss says drat in disappointment.
Weiss: I do not use myrtenaster in a party game!
Ruby comes in her & her team's room. She looks around finding no 1. She decides to exit the room when a book under a pillow caught her eye. She rushes over, looks around & takes the book from under the pillow. Its Blake's book ninja + love. She seems interested.
Blake (pales): oh no...
Ruby reads the book very interested in the story. She skims through the pages & founds a poster attach to the book with a picture of a katana. "Now that's a katana." Ruby said impressed.
Ruby (is now interested): huh, hey Blake can I borrow you're-
Blake: no.
Ruby: but-
Blake: ruby, there's more to the story than just a katana.
Weiss & yang are going to spar not too far from the school. Yang was able to disarm her, but she forgot to reload ember Celica. Weiss makes a taunting face at her so yang just punch her away proudly.
Weiss: I can't believe I did that! I'm not childish!
Yang (laughing): it's a parody Weiss. It's supposed to be funny & I would do that if I ran out of ammo.
Blake is looking for her book from under her pillow. She is really scared & starts to look for it through the book case. She turns to find ruby holding her book with an angry look. "Ruby, is that my book?" Blake asks. Ruby calls it filth & hits her with it. She walks away as Blake is on the ground. Blake twitches & asks if she can have her book back. Ruby will give it back later.
Yang: wow, maybe I should read those books.
Weiss: I don't want to know the story of that book.
Alright I'll put season 2 on hold until I finish season 1.
