Chapter 9: Happy Halloween

Alex's P.O.V
A few days have gone by with a lite tension between Matt and I. We've been acting like nothing had ever happened, avoiding the topic. Friday was Halloween aka my FAVORITE time of the year so it was time to start planning the perfect night. The second I got to school, I ran up to Matt and we tried to compromise on something.
"What should I be? I want to be scary but not too scary. But I also don't want to be a normal slit like every other girl!" I said in a breath He looked at me like I was crazy and just laughed.
"How about I pick out your costume. Trust me I'll make it good. You decide what we are doing. " Matt replied. I just rolled my eyes. There was no chance I was letting someone take over my Holliday. I spent all day thinking about what we were going to do when I finally came up with a good idea. I FOUN Matt in the hallways and told him.
"I remembered that this new horror movie was coming out the night before Halloween so we should see it! The after the movie, I heard that there is a new haunted house that's supposed to be the scariest one in the country!" I say practically jumping up and down with excitement.
After school I go to party city and get a costume and decorations. It's my job to be the scariest in the neighborhood.
**SKIPS TO HALLOWEEN NIGHT**
This is the night I've been waiting for all year! After school, I run home as fast as I can to get dressed. Matts picking me up at 6:30 for a 7:00 movie. This means I have about three hours to make my self look as scary as possible to the point where Matt wants to pee himself. It's about 6:15 and Matt was already at my house... no surprise. I told my mom to let him in. The two were talking for a while and I got the perfect opportunity to scare Matt. I sneak up behind him grab him and scream. From the look on his face he could have peed himself.
"What the actual fuck Alex!" he screamed. I just sat there and laughed.
"I'm getting into the spirit of tonight" I smirk. We head out to the movie and get there right on time. The movie started and we were the only one in the theater. Matt sitts behind me with the intention of scaring me but i keep looking back at him. A few minutes into the movie he gets up an comes next to me. I'm not too sure why but I move away. I started to run and he started chasing me. We were laughing and running when I tripped over a seat and feel on my face. when I got up, I quickly looked around the theater but Matt wasn't there. I looked under every seat and behind every wall and curtian but he was no where to be found. I shout out his name a few times but no responce. I start to panic. What happened to him?

A/N So hey guys i wrote this on Halloween but i realized I never posted it. Well that took away some of the scare.
