Goodbye Apathy

After all the lights have come down

And the circus has left town

With the last song being sung,

You were the one I could count on

When the waves came crushing down,

And the boats turned,

Pulling me to sorrow

You were the one to sail me back to shore

You used to be the one that was not ashamed,

But now you shaming

You used to come here every day,

But now you just break in

Did I disappoint you or let you down?

If so...

Should I be feeling guilty?

Here I sit

All alone

In a seat that’s reserved

To take me to nowhere

This room we both sit in

Has turned into a battlefield of Love

Fighting with myself, trying to hide what you don’t know

But even I get weak

I know it’s not wise to leave myself open

But all the rules get broken in this friendship

It’s hard to say Goodbye but we both knew this day would come.

It’s such as shame because all Good things have to come to an end.

Our lasting friendship doesn’t have to or does it?
