"Did you hear about the two new kids?" Sara asked Kris as she sat down in a chair across from him. The two were in the library to try and escape from everything around them; to find a sense of peace. Kris looked up from his school work as a small smile curved his lips, "No, who are they?" Sara twisted a pencil around between her fingers as she explained, "They're fraternal twin brothers. Their names are Jaemin and Jaejoong. I heard Jaemin is the younger brother by 15 minutes making Jaejoong the older of the two."
Kris nodded his head as he set his chin on his arms and looked up at her, "Sara." She turned to him and smiled, "Yes?" Biting the inside of his cheek for a few seconds to calm his nerves, he finally asked, "Do you ever think---nervmind." She scrunched an eyebrow and shook her head, "No, tell me." Kris laughed softly as he straightened up and flipped his hair, "It's nothing. It was a stupid question."
"Kris," Sara said as she looked at him with a curious expression, "tell me." Drawing in a breath, Kris shrugged, "Do you ever think of us-uh, Luhan?" Sara scrunched her eyebrows not even noticing the little slip of Kris' words as he said "us." She shrugged, "Why would I think of Luhan?" Kris searched for an excuse as he titled his head a little, "What I meant is, do you---do you think he'll ever not be so shy?"
Laughing lightly, Sara shook her head, "Kris, you are really strange." He chuckled slightly as he rubbed the back of his neck, "I know. After all, I'm not human." She nodded her head, "Tru-" but before she could finish her a sentence, she heard someone clear their throat behind her. Turning around, she saw one of the "new boys" standing there.
"Um, hi. I'm Yong-" taking a moment to cough, Yongguk, or as he was now named, Jaejoong, cleared his throat, "Jaejoong. I'm new here and I was wondering where the science room is." Sara nodded, "All you have to do is-" but Jaejoong interrupted her politely, "Do you mind showing me? I might forget the directions."
Sara smiled as she stood and nodded towards Kris, "Let's meet up with the others at lunch." He nodded and started to pack up his bag as Sara and Jaejoong walked out of the library and into the hallway. As the two walked a good distance apart from each other, Sara said, "Oh, I should probably introduce myself. I'm Sara and in my last year here."
Jaejoong smiled, "I'm in my last year too." She nodded and soon, her hand was up by her neck as she played with a necklace. Smiling, Jaejoong admired it as he remembered giving it to her for their anniversary. "Where did you get that necklace?" Jaejoong asked regardless of him already knowing the answer.
Sara smiled sweetly as she looked down at the gold heart encrusted with diamonds, "My boyfriend gave it to me." Deciding to play a little game, Jaejoong asked, "The boy you were with earlier? You called him Kris, I believe." Laughing softly, Sara shook her head, "Oh no, not him. He's just a friend and plus, I've never been attracted to him."
Hearing these words made his heart warm as he tried to hold back a grin, "Then who's your boyfriend?" Looking up at him, she replied, "His name is Yongguk. Him and I have been together for a year now." Jaejoong smiled, "Yongguk? Hm, by that name he sounds extremely smart." Sara nodded as a smile curved the corners of her mouth upwards, "Oh, he is and he has a really good heart."
He smiled and soon, the two were standing in front of the science room. "Well," Sara said rubbing her hands together, "here it is. This is the science room. If you need any help again, I'll usually be in the library. I also have another friend who could help you or your brother. Her name is-" but Jaejoong cut her off, "Blondie."
Sara nodded, "Did you meet her earlier?" He nodded, "Yes, she was one of the first people to greet us. She told me to come to you to show me the science room because her and another boy were working on a banner for the school." Nodding, Sara smiled, "If I'm correct, the boy she was with is most likely Luhan. Actually, Luhan and Kris have other friends. I'll try to introduce you to the rest of them later."
Jaejoong nodded, "Sounds good, thank you." She nodded and walked away as she turned and entered the library again. "If only you knew it was me jagiya," Jaejoong mumbled before walking into the classroom.
