On October 4,2014, on a sunny morning a eight year old girl named ruby was walking downstairs to the kitchen to where her mother was, when she got there she went over to her mother and pulled on her pants leg to get her attention. The mom looked down at her daughter, then she asked " yes ruby? " " mama I have a question." Her mother put down what she was doing, picked up ruby, sat in a chair, and placed ruby In her lap, " what's your question?" Her mother asked. " do you an dada wear a mask?" Asked ruby, her mother mother was shocked by her question then her face soften when she saw her daughters face. " well my baby girl, I do wear a mask but I don't know if your dad wears one." Her mother said. Ruby asked " why do you wear a mask and how come you don't know if daddy wears one?" Her mother sigh, then said " baby girl there's four or five reason why I wear a mask but you would have to ask your dad if he wears one." " ok mommy. Can you tell me why you wear a mask?" Ruby said/asked. " alright baby girl." " yay." Ruby said. Her mother smiled at her little girl, then she began telling ruby her reason why she wears a mask. Ruby listen to her mom when she began to tell her reason. " my four or five reason on why I wear a mask are to hide my emotion, to fit in, to hide abuse, to hide judgement, and also to hide my true self." Said ruby mother. " why where you abuse and by who, also why hide your true self?" Ruby asked. With a sigh her mother said " that my baby girl is another story and look it's about time your father got home." Ruby looked at the clock to see it was 7:50p.m. They heard the door being open, then ruby ran to the door to see her father walking in the house. " daddy!" Ruby exclaimed as her dad walked in the house, he then picked her up saying " hey ruby. What did my baby girl do with her mom today?" " I heard mama tell me why she wears a mask." Ruby told her dad. He was shocked but was more shocked when she asked " do you wear a mask?" " I may tell you tomorrow. Ok ruby?" " alright daddy." Ruby said. He smiled at her and she smiled back at her father. They went an ate dinner, then her mother and father put her to bed. They told each other good night and I love you, then they all went to sleep and had a peaceful slumber.
