"Charges against a young man have been dropped after the money he allegedly stole was mysteriously returned." The reporter stated as a picture of the aforementioned young man appeared on the screen. Raising an eyebrow, the blue-masked turtle turned the volume up slightly. "Last night at around 11:30, 17 year old Michael Sawyer robbed the 'Corner Drugstore' on the corner of Fifth Avenue and Evans Street at gunpoint. He allegedly stole $150 in cash before fleeing the scene. 15 minutes later, Sawyer was found in a nearby alleyway. He had in his possession a 9mm pistol and a small, 3 inch pocket knife, but the money was nowhere to be found. When questioned about the money's whereabouts, Sawyer stated that he had no idea where it was. 'He said it was stolen from him.' Police chief George Sanders reported. 'I think the kids got some mental issues, to be honest. He kept spouting out this stuff about being assaulted by a giant turtle.'" Eyes widening, the turtle leaped to his feet. "Sensei!" he called, running towards his father'sroom. "Sensei!"

"What is it, Leonardo, my son?" the large rat-man asked, emerging from his room.

"Sensei, do you know where the others are?"Leonardo asked, clearly disturbed. The rat shook his head.

"No I do not. Why? Is there something wrong?" Leonardo shook his head.

"It's nothing, I just want to know where they all were last night." he called over his shoulder as he went to find his brothers. He entered the living room, Splinter not too far behind, to find that his siblings had somehow appeared.

"We heard yelling. What's wrong?" the turtle who wore a purple mask asked, his gap-tooth clearly visible as he did so.

"Where were all of you last night?" Leonardo asked immediately, ignoring his brother's question.

"I was here." the orange-masked turtle replied, hanging upside down on the couch.

"Ditto." the red-masked one stated uncharismatically, lying on the couch with a comic book. The purple-masked one casually looked to the ceiling.

"Donnie." Leonardo pressed. Donnie sighed.

"Ap~" he mumbled.

"What?" Leo asked.

"April's." Donnie repeated, his face reddening. Immediately, the other two turtles grinned.

"Mwahmwahmwah-"

"Mikey, Raph. Stop." Leo stated, glaring at each of them in turn; orange then red.

"Why do you even care?"Raph asked, returning to his comic book without waiting for an answer.

"Because a robber said he saw a giant turtle last night. And I'm pretty sure we're the only giant turtles around here." Leo stated. "Which means one of you are lying to me."

"Don't look at me." Raph retorted, not looking up from his comic book. "Like I said, I was here."

"Can you prove that?" Leo demanded.

"Yeah, I can." Raph shot back, glaring over the top of his comic book at his older brother. "Just ask Spike. He was sick, remember?"

"Oh... Right..." The oldest turtle said, feeling a little bad for being so rude; he vaguely recalled Raph saying that his pet turtle, Spike, wasn't looking too good. "Mikey?"

"Dude, I was here all night." the youngest of the four stated, flipping around to sit properly on the couch.

"Doing wha-" Leo didn't get a chance to finish his question before a water balloon popped in his face.

"Filling up these." Mikey gave a goofy grin, holding up two more balloons. Wiping his face, Leo scowled at his prankster brother before looking to Donnie.

"That only leaves you, Don."

"Wait a sec, what about you?" Raph butt in. "Where were you last night, oh High and Mighty Leader?"

Leo's face reddened slightly. "I was uh.. out."

"Out, huh?" Raph tossed his comic book onto the couch, standing. "Out where, exactly?"

"It's none of your business." Leo shot back, giving the second oldest a look that clearly said 'don't start this again'.

"None of my business." Raph retorted. "Is it just me, or does this seem a bit, oh, I don't know. Suspicious?"

"I have to agree with Raph, Leo." Donnie said quietly. "You are being rather dodgy." Leo's eyes widened, then he sighed.

"Alright, I was out meeting Karai." he said quietly, rubbing the back of his neck as he avoided eye contact with any of his brothers.

"I shoulda known." Raph spat, clearly disgusted.

"Alright, so if it wasn't any of us..." Donatello cut in, changing the obviously touchy subject before either of the two could do anything stupid. "Then who was it?"

Mikey, who had been sitting on the couch watching the three as if it were a crappy sitcom, shrugged. "Maybe the guy's delusional." he said, rolling his eyes a few times and making the 'loopy' sign with both of his hands.

"Or maybe...." Leo started, and Donnie finished.

"We're not alone."
