It was beautiful snowing night outside, few street lights lightning up dansely snowflakes which were slowly rushing to the ground.
And you were there sitting on the floor with your head leaned on the side of your bed looking through the window and then looking back at the ceiling.
You didn't feel so well for a week now so you skipped few classes. School was always the one keeping your mind busy from things such as problems, sadness, sometimes depression and... him of course.
C/n was one of the cutest boys in your class, smart, funny & always shared those good vibes. Even tho you didn't talk with him so much he always knew how to make you feel better just by saying some most random stupid things. He always seemed like real... Let me use this cringey word for once... Boyfriend material. You wish.
"The thing is it will always stay like that, just in your head y/n" You thought. The thought of him, your sweaty hands, & nervous voice whenever he comes around was eating you up.
The sound of someone knocking on your window wake you up from your thoughts. It was c/n.
"Y/n can you please open it up for me?" He says as he shakes the snow from his hair with his hand. "I'm actually freezing"
You open the back door for him & and let him in.
"C/n? What are you doing here?" you ask.
"I wanted to check up on you... and I bought you pizza.. I really hope you like chilly peppers" You blushed. Wow. He actually knows you exist.. like... properly. And he actually cares.
"Yeah I do like them. How'd you know?" He smiles. "Y/f helped me to pick your favorite one, I think I'll thank her later"
"I really appreciate you coming
c/n & uh... let me make us warm chocolate" He helps you make warm chocolate so both of you can warm yourself up a bit. You were trying to reach wessel with sugar but you couldn't cuz you were too short, his hand accidentally touches yours as he he helps you reach it. You flinch a little.
It was awkward silence for a whole minute but then you hear him mumble "you're still beautiful" your cheeks goes bright red as you heard him saying it "what'd you say?" you check "I said think you're beautiful y/n, I know you're sick, you look exhausting, tired etc but I really can not but not look at you.
"c/n..." you don't know what to say "there's more y/n and I can't keep it for myself anymore, I know we didn't talk much but I was always paying attention to little things you do like buying a drink, laughing with your friends, tucking your hair behind your ear whenever you write... I couldn't help myself but just stare at you every class we had together. It took me some time to realize what I actually feel about you and I tried to ignore it cuz I was never the one for deep feelings, I thought it will leave me after some time, but the whole year went by and it didn't"
You felt a tear on your cheek as your vision get blurry & your cheeks were burning up once again. "Wow, you said all of it in one breath" you joke. He smiles with the corner of his mouth.
"This feeling of butterflies in my stomach and stuttering whenever you come around was hunting me for years too, but somehow I never get bored of it. I was dreaming about this since forever..."
He leans in, & your faces were just inches away, noses almost touching, you could feel his warm breath on your lips, expecting to wake up every second.
"Y/n will you do me a honor and be my girlfriend?" he looks deep into your eyes. "Yes" you reply (obviously)
He moves closer to kiss your lips. You felt like your heart is gonna jump out of your chest every moment. You put your hand on his chest "you don't want to get sick too do you?"
"you are such a moment ruiner" he puts his lips on yours and kisses you passionately.
You swear you could hear fireworks in the background.
