After Successfully sorting out the 400 million deficit of Shengu Group at Contantly Group, Gu Li and her brother found their company hidden shares gaining her another hundreds of millions making her now a billionaire.

Which acquired her the amount to fix the deficit. thus, therefore, she doesn't have to be in Jail or sell Shengu's remaining shares to Gu Yuan's mom (who is currently the CEO of Constantly and ME after the death of Gong Ming's father ) and securing her position as director at ME.

But that's not the most important to Gu Li anymore, What's important is she's with everyone around her again, her fiance Gu Yuan, her highschool friends which she calls sister of times, her cousin and newly discovered half brother, people that she loves cherishes, people that made her really happy.

On top of that, she got the approval of Gu Yuan's mom to be married to each other. She truly felt she deserves a crown.

It's a good life! And Gu Li, of course, will cling her heels to life itself.

At the apartment - Gu Li's room

Gu Li thought to herself that she's already gonna see her dad in the afterlife after he passed away for speeding in order to attend her birthday two years ago.

Her vision is hazy or she's rather dreaming 'Is she seeing her dad?' she thought to herself.

"it's way too soon, dad." "don't take me yet"

the bright light growing blindingly hits her eyes

"I can't leave yet. I'm not even married yet and I'm surrounded with people that matter the most to me. What will they do without me?"

Gu Yuan entered the room and head all that Lily's muttering about.
That is something he wanted to hear. He smiled ever so slightly but still worried about Lily's condition.

"Gu Li it's me, Gu Yuan. Are you feeling alright?"

"Oh, it's just you.
I think I'm a little bit cold."

Gu Yuan handed Gu Li a glass of water and some medicine to take.

"Yeah, you can be cold sometimes."

Gu Yuan chuckled a bit and Lily slightly rolled her eyes at him.

"Don't worry It's gonna be alright, you'll get better soon."

Yuan scoot over to her side blanketed her and comforting her.

"You're always so warm" resting her head at him.

"Gu Yuan, ... "

"What is it?"

"Thank you for everything. For being at my side all this time,
Even if I'm cold or bad-tempered or even selfish sometimes, Even if I made mistakes you forgave me,
Even if I look hideous right now you're still on my side.

Gu Yuan held Gu Li's hands.

"It's not cringy at all, I'm really glad I heard that.
That's all I need to know Gu Li, and I will stay by your side for the next 50 years, or the rest of my life.
You are the person that I love the most. like you said, were like grasshoppers tied in a string.
You'll not die yet, You'll get through this. We'll do everything.
We will still get married and you'll get us soy milk and fried breadsticks in the morning."

The two held each other closely appreciating the presence of each other.

"I have Lucy for that." Gu Li weakly chuckled

"If you're too busy, then, I will get it for you."

"I think you're probably too busy to do that as well."

"You're probably right. then, let's get Lucy to do it most of the time. But in the meantime get some rest, you probably need to get rest."

"Gu Yuan, What time do you need to go to work tomorrow? could you stay here for a little longer?

"Sure, of course. I don't have much to do it was already sorted out earlier."

"then, I'll go to sleep now, goodnight."

"Goodnight I love you."

Gu Yuan kissed Gu Li's forehead. The two slept hugging each other.
