As soon as Griana told him she knew she screwed up and ran straight over to her room. She saw the look of shock in his eyes and knew if she stayed she would break down in front of him. So that's why she was now in her room, her face smushed into her pillow as she sobbed, fat, ugly tears trying to roll down her cheeks only to get caught by the fabric of her pillow. When she heard the knock at her door she thought it had to be one of her friends. The Prince wouldn't wanna see her after what she had revealed so she stood to open the door, knowing she looked horrible, her makeup smeared in some places and her dress wrinkled from laying on it.

She opened the door and her heart froze as she saw Mumbo. She had heard what the others around the castle would say about when she told the prince about herself. That he would beat her for lying, declare war against her and her people and although Iskall, the protective friend he is, would crack his knuckles and glare at them to stop, (Sometimes even going as far to try and attack them had Griana not stopped him.) It hadn't stopped her thoughts from wandering and making up a million other bad things that could happen. So when she saw him at her door fear filled her gut and sadness dug its knives deeper into her heart until she heard what Mumbo was saying.

"P-Please don't hate me... I froze up, I- I still love you, Griana."

"Y-You don't hate me?...." Her voice was small and laced in confusion her green eyes still dulled with tears.

"Princess Griana I-" Mumbo started before she interrupted him, "Please... J-Just Griana.."

He nodded before continuing, "Griana, there's absolutely no way for me to hate you, you have been nothing but sweet to me and trusted me enough to reveal yourself to me.." He took a deep breath before looking Griana in the eyes and she felt her breath get caught in her throat at the burning red that stared straight at her, his absolute attention on her and her only.

"You are beautiful, whether you are a male or female it doesn't change my opinion of you. You are so sweet and lovely, so caring and excitable and hearing people talk about you does no justice for the real thing. You are one of a kind and I'd be lying if I told you any different. I know we've only known each other personally for a day, but I genuinely think I may love you.."

Her heart soared and her blood was pumping, hands shaking with excitement and fear as she tried to utter out words.

"Y-You really mean it?.... You don't mind that im....."

"A male?" He placed his hands on her cheeks, she felt the roughness of someone that obviously worked, but the gentleness of someone that cared dearly of the person they were holding and a tear slid down her cheek, Mumbo's thumb wiping away any remnants of it. "Of course not Griana. Nothing like gender could stop me from loving you."

"I-I Love you too Mumbo.... So much, it feels like I've known you forever."

She barely noticed anything else around her but Mumbo. She could feel his breath gently tickle her face and felt herself lean in closer. She saw Mumbo glance down to her lips and look back up to her eyes, obviously asking permission.

She couldn't keep the smile off her face as she nodded and not even a second later their lips were interlocked in a gentle but passionate kiss. Griana felt her eyes close, mumbo's soft lips brushing her own in a tenderness that basically screamed love. There was no denying it now, Mumbo loved her and she couldn't be any happier. She pressed her hands onto Mumbo's, gently interlacing their fingers as they moved down from her face and the kiss ended.

Griana could see the blush on Mumbo's face and knew hers was just as bad if not worse. She pressed her forehead against The Prince's, gently closing her eyes once more.

"Griana, I do have an important question." She opened her eyes, Looking curiously into the beautiful red ones in front of her.

"Do you even want to be a female?"

Well that was unexpected.

"Uhmm ...well"
