Emma was sitting her room wondering what to do. She had checked her Facebook and Instagram but now she didn't know what to do. It was only the third day of the holidays and she was bored (I mean like how can you be boarded when you live in London). She couldn't go anywhere cause her foster parents where out and she was strictly told to stay inside. She didn't have any friends either so all she could do was mope around the house all day until her parents came back.
It was 4:30 when she got a text from her mum saying that they were running late on whatever they we're doing.
It was 8 in the morning when I heard a knock on my door, it was her mum "sweetie are you awake yet?"
"uh yeah"
"Good" she smiled as she walked in through the door. "Emma you were asleep when we got home last night so you don't know what we were doing?"
"No I don't"
"Well" says mum "you might be a bit surprised but were moving houses"
"What" I yelled "where are we moving too".
"Sydney in Australia" mum smiled feeling very proud
"When are we moving" I felt very excited now, I could start new a life sort of.
"Next week so get packing sweetie" and she left.
I was really excited as I thought about my last day at school remembering all the bad things that happened; I had my recess and lunch stolen and my canteen money stolen too. I had my school books chucked in the bin and I was forced to get them out. I remember how I smelt like roting food and how I wanted to the toilet and all the cubicles had no toilet paper.... I stopped thinking about it because I got goose bumps; I hated my school it was full of mean and cruel people.
I went into the kitchen to get a box to start packing. As soon as I got back to my bedroom I decided to start with my book shelf. I had loved reading books since I was little and I still like them now, I guess this where I can find my inner self.
