Erkenci Kus episode 2 recap

I am now watching episode 2 all the way through (yes I have done this more than once but its interesting to see it after the whole series has come to an end )

1. The beginning scene- Can realizing he found the mystery woman he couldn't stop thinking about...and then having the realization that she in fact is engaged. The sadness as he looked down at that ring ...I just wanted to give him a hug (ya that was the only reason lol)

2. The second Muzzo nightmare where Sanem is married to Muzo... even in that nightmare Sanem was having 3 kids- she had a girl, a boy and was pregnant in the nightmare.... So Ayse* always wanted Sanem to have three kids, 2 girls and a boy... what I learned from this idea of Sanem having 3 kids...is that a nightmare with one can be a dream with another

3. So many amazing Canem scenes in this episodes- a couple of "if you would just let me do it we would we been kissing right now" moments ... I love those moments- the almost kisses of this show sometimes are more beautiful and hot than the actual kisses... 

some of my favorite canem moments:

a. The close encounter when she tries to get the list of bearded men from Can... the close proximity and then sanem turns her head and Can licks his lips gahhh it has always and swill always make my heart race

b. Who knew one of the closest to a sex scenes we would have would be can blowing on sanem's wounded knee... but damn.... it was hot

c. My favorite line of this episode

 Can: are you always like this? Sanem: like what? Can: just like you are .... This was the first moment where Can was  really showing how dazzled he is by her and how unique she is

d. And I love how Can keeps wanting Sanem to take a sip of her tea before he drinks it lol well he does say in episode 20 after sanem kisses him in the forest that he misses the flavor of her lips .... Gahhh

e. The motor cycle ride- Can puts his hands over Sanem's hands that are gripping him tight on the motorcycle as her fear doesn't allow her to realize the bike was parked – that moment always makes my heart flutter. Can was smiling so much during the ride enjoying her being so close ...he told her that they arrived and said to stop being a scared child playfully... then she said she only came because her boss wanted it and so his face fell a little and Can said well then go do your job then... sigh I forgot how much sanem hurt him during the beginning episodes with her powerful words and her misunderstanding of his intentions

4. "oburu" -No one will call you "the other" ever again –the first promise that can tells Sanem that he eventually breaks in 2 of their heated break up scenes... every time he did it calling her "the other" it broke my heart... and Sanem's heart... he did it really to hurt her because he wanted to blow it up and say the one thing that would hurt her and make her leave and he succeeded both times... ok sorry that's for another recap ...right now it shows he is sweet and caring

5. Part of what I love about sanem is the fact that she is a Klutz... because I am a Klutz and can totally relate to every moment lol .. Sanem walking into that glass door when Can is checking her out... lmao I think we all can relate to trying to be so smooth in front of a guy we like or just a hot guy in general only to fall flat on our face, knock into something, or have something spill on us

6. Emre

... Emre, Emre, Emre – I cant wait for you not to be a douche

a. Can was upset that sanem was there because of the ring...the fact that he had to know that she was engaged... that look when emre asked if he was upset she was engaged was so sad Can's only response was to throw a basketball at him not being able to deny it

b. I still cant believe sanem bought Emre's lie that getting more clients is bad for the company because Can wants to sell it... it frustrated me how easily she believed what emre was telling her in all the beginning episodes ...but I guess that's the street smart New Yorker in me

7. Mivkebe's first vow of silence... I love it... she is so dramatic and I love how only Leyla understands her

8. Osman ... I forgot he was not in the first episode and feared he wouldn't show up this episode too...48 minutes in I was like finally Osman!! We missed you boo

9. AKIF!!! I missed that boy... we campaigned so hard for his return- that moment Akif said, "I thought you were coming to me to say you two were engaged." When Can says "we will come another time"... I waited since this moment for that to happen through every freaken proposal I waited for that moment where they go back to Akif's office and Can says, "I told you we would come back".... Sigh to broken dreams

10. I love when Can calls himself an Albatros... and his mischievous look when sanem freaks out... sigh I love this show, He wants to tell her he is albatross so badly but he is too scared to

11. Things that aren't that important but I needed to point out

a. Sanem's first journal is brown not pink like the later episodes- this continuity issue is one of many I try to look passed...and a lot of times fail miserably at forgetting

 b. The mystery bearded man- Sanem asks for a list of single men... but ... obviously they aren't single or else they would not have kissed someone thinking it was someone else

c. Im convinced they stopped with the motorcycle mainly bc of helmet hair with Can as his he cant just fix his hair in a scene bc of hair extensions and his man bun

d. Rifat Abi nerede? for the rest of this show... the house keeper that disappears after the party episodes If you made it this far thank you! You rock! until the next recap keep!

*Ayse was the original writer for the show... she did episode 1 -17 and then came back for episode 39-46.... she is amazing and created the magic of ek it was the foundation that got us hooked even when writers changed her story line always came with beautiful mythology
