Chapter 1

"Good Morning class. Today, Im gonna introduce you to our new student here in Calgary French & International School and--"

"Is it a boy, Ms. Coleman?" Abrianna, a school flirt asked as she twirled her blonde hair with her finger

"Yes, Abrianna. He's a boy" Ms. Coleman sighed as Abrianna and other flirts cheered and reached for their purses to fix thereselves

I rolled my eyes in disgust.. Like seriously? We're still 13 dude!!

Ms. Coleman opened the door and there came in a guy with his black hair all waxed up... he looks cute though... but he does look like a mean guy to me

Some girls were squealing, some were taking pictures secretly and some were blabbering about how to make him theirs

Typical flirts... Im not surprised how they can react like this

"Shuushh!!" Ms. Coleman crossed her arms on her chest

"Quiet down!! Let our new student introduce his self " Ms. Coleman said and smiled at Darren sweetly

Ugh. Whatever.

"Hey.. Im Darren Espanto and I just moved here in Calgary, Canada. As you can see by my chinky eyes, Im from the Philippines"

That made me straighten up. He's from the Philippines? Cool.. my dad's from the Philippines too but he had to leave me here alone, same as my mother.

"Okay Darren... you can pick any seat"

There were just two vacant seats. One was beside Abrianna and the other one was beside me.

*sigh*

Let me guess, he's gonna sit beside Abrianna, right? I mean, Im a nerd! No one wants to sit beside a nerd! 

He roamed around the room and realized that there were two vacant seats. He looked at Abrianna who was winking at him which he returned with a smile.

I knew this was gonna happen. He walked towards Abrianna until he was right in front of her... and as expected from a flirt, Abrianna bit her lip and winked at him again

"Gonna sit beside me, babe?" she said

Ew!! Gross!! It's really disgusting to hear those words from an ugly duckling!! Im serious, she is ugly. She may be blonde but her eyes aren't level.. it's like the right eye looks normal but the left eye is looking the other way.. LOL

"Uhmmm... I was supposed to" he smirked

Abrianna paused for a bit and looked at Darren confusingly

"What do you mean supposed to? Aren't you gonna sit beside me? or do you prefer sitting beside that weirdo over there?" Abrianna said refering to me as I bowed my head

Darren didn't answer. He just stood there exchanging looks from Abrianna to me and he sighed. I knew it, he had no choice but to sit beside Abrianna. Im not surprised.

He stood there for a minute. Could he just sit beside Abrianna? I mean, he's taking too much time by just choosing where to sit. I closed my eyes and then I heard footsteps towards me but I ignored it. I felt like someone was in front of me as other girls gasped a little causing me to wonder why but I shrugged it off.

"Can I sit with you?"

I opened my eyes immediately as I looked at the person in front of me.

Pfft-- Oh God! I wanted to burst into laughter but... nevermind.

"Uhmmm... I was supposed to" I said and smirked which made this girl in front of me pause for a bit and looked at me confusingly
