Sometimes happy is sad
A truth is a lie
To be scared or mad
To be drunk or to be sober
To be up or to be down
To laugh or to cry
To smile or to frown
This is life
This is the way
This is a teenager
Thisis a day
A day of drama
A day of emotion
A day of peace
A day of commotion
For a day
To calm down
To be bullied
Or to just frown
To eat by yourself
To have no one to talk to
To read in a corner
This is nothing new
This is a teens life
It isnt the best
So take it easy
Give them a rest
We are the future
You are the past
To come in first
To come in last
Lifes a puzzle
With no end
Lend a hand
