Evie woke up that morning, she got dressed and ate breakfast like any other kids. But she knew she wasn't like the other kids, besides the fact that she was a veela and a pureblood witch. It was her eyes. She had been born with cursed eyes, meaning she could only see magics. It didn't really seem to matter to most people but still, no one liked her because she was different. Few people actually knew what her eyes actually were and those were her closest friends, Ethan, Annie and her most treasured, Tristan. She knew she stood out but that didn't matter because today was a good day, today she started school at Hogwarts.
"Evie!" cried out Ethan, her favorite weasly. "Ethan!" yelled back Evie as she ran towards him. "It's great to see you again." They say at the same time. They both start laughing hysterically because that's just what normal people do when they think something is funny.
Soon after the entire group of friends find each other right as the first years are called in for sorting. Name after name is called out to be sorted."Evie!"
Evie walks up slowly to the stage as the sorting hat is placed on her head "Slytherin!" The hat yells almost immediately. She walks to the table quickly. Ethan is up next he gets Gryffindor of couse then Tristan is called up and looks like he is concerned as the hat is placed on his head it starts talking to him, "You could be great, you know, it's all here in your head, and Ravenclaw will help you on the way to greatness, no doubt about that. Well than better be Slytherin!" Tristan suddenly doesn't seem worried anymore and starts grinning ear to ear. Evie seems relieved that someone she knows is in the same house as her. Annie's name is called a few minutes later and she gets Ravenclaw and is greeted by a 7th year who introduced herself as Luna Lovegood. After the feast all the houses go to their dorms and settle in for the long year at Hogwarts.
