millie gajendra, a recovering addict, a broken-hearted daughter, sister, and friend returns back to high school after two, long hard years of intense rehabilitation, only to kindle a romance with the one girl she'd been in love with since her freshman year,

emery armilljo. 

at the time, emery was taken, by dylan maestes. freshman year was filled with mistakes. millie wasn't openly bisexual and was only consumed by the thought of being completely and utterly in love with emery.

it was the methamphetamine, the heroine, the marijuana, nicotine, the excessive drinking that millie'd secretly been indulging herself in for the past four years, until a wild party leaves her raped, almost on the verge of an overdose, and intoxicated on the floor, and eligible for rehabilitation.

now two years later, she returns to the very high school she though had ruined her life, to find that the very woman she fell in love with as a freshman is now a junior, she isn't with dylan, she's single, still consumed by art and fashion.

little does she know that emery has been in love with her since the day they met.

『 A U T H O R - N O T E 』

hi loves! yes, it's been one hot minute, and lemme just start off by saying, what the heck, i'm so sorry, i'm going to active for the next few weeks, promise. 

my life has absolutely hectic lately, and I've been tired, exhausted, and extremely busy, so being on wattpad has been limited, but I really want to share more of my work in the next few weeks, as I've been inspired recently.

this is a short story, and its semi based off my experiences and experiences of others, that aren't heard. sharing these stories, sharing the constant struggles of not knowing who you truly are is something that a collective group can relate. I don't expect a lot of feedback, as this is a short story, there is no cast, it isn't mainstream or cliché, its just real life. high school, relationships. experiences aren't portrayed properly in books or movies, and the goal of this book isn't to get readers, its just to showcases real experiences of real individuals, whether it be in high school, or in relationships, or in personal experiences.
