Can you see me?

Cause I can see you.

I stand, right in front of you, but its like you can't see me.

I'm still here in the land of the living, watching you walk by like I don't exist.

"They cannot see you anymore," The voice whispers in my ear tentatively. "They have accepted the world as it is, but you have not."

The world looks so much bigger now, but its eerily quiet. People shuffle around me on the busy street but they make no noise. The cars drive by but emit no sound, the sky rumbles as if to say, I am real.

The human world around me comes into focus in shades of grey, tall buildings with dull windows. The people around me blend into a menagerie of dark colours and shapes, I should be terrified this should not be normal. But I am calm, as though my body knows more then my mind.

"Follow me," The voice prompts, and I move forward through the dark scene before me. My being cutting thru the colours, as though a shield keeps them from me. A fine line between my vibrant being and their dull colours.

I blink in surprise and try to stop, raising my hands, dark radiant skin greets my vision. With an almost holy shine, I finally see myself or the person I have now become.

My memory is fuzzy, as though the person I was no longer matters to the person I am now. This isn't me, not the me I used to know.

I am still calm because, I know this is how I always should have been.

A ray of sunshine blinds me for a moment as I step out of the city, in an instant I am no longer near humanity. Everything is vibrant greens, blues and bright colours flowing together. My body still moves forward, it knows where I am going even if my mind does not.

"Welcome home, lets get to work,"
