Once there were six Angels, as old as time. They created the Earth that we all know today and watch over us still. Peace was maintained within their lives for many centuries, until an evil force of the name Salalzar. War broke out and in order to protect themselves, the six Angels changed their form to appear as humans. They descended to Earth in a flurry of snowflakes and remained there for many years. Due to the shortage of Angels on Earth, the six had to search for appropriate mates to carry on their blood line. Someone or something with which another generation was created. And that was when they found the Dragons. It was barely six months later where upon six new Angels were born. And life resumed happily. Until it was time for the six new Angels to unfold their wings for the first time. And what a surprise everyone had received. For instead of gorgeous, soft, white feathers, there were black, hard scales.
And that was the moment when everything anyone knew changed.
For something new had been created.
For now a new protector had been born.
And they were the....
