After a great speedweeks we head to Las Vegas as tradition for the running of the Las Vegas 200. Jesse Turner and upstart team Ditech Motorsports took the field by storm winning pole and the race for the Valvoline 200. Who will gamble it all have Lady Luck on their side today for 27 laps in the hot Vegas sun? On pole in the #48 for Texas Star Racing is Jake Galloway. On his outside is Chandler Maurice. In row 2 is a duo of OnjAuto cars with Austin Murray starting 3rd with Anderson Reed in 4th. Row 3 consists of CFRO driver Dusty Neel, and Diego Yepez Inc. driver of DJ Kurtis. Row 4 is Zachary Racing's Alex Benyacko, and Jones Racing Inc.'s Austin Johnson. Row 5 is Zachary Fitzwater Sr., Fitzwater Australia Racing's team owner, and rounding out the top 10 is Logan Bradley for CFRO. Every car rolls off and has no problems as we go green in Vegas!
Jake Galloway gets a great start and jumps a full car length ahead of Chandler Maurice before the line. Jake will lead lap 1 as Austin Murray is in 2nd. Finally, on lap 9, Alex Benyacko makes a move on Jake Galloway for the lead, but Anderson Reed forces it 3 wide coming to the line! For all of lap 10 Reed and Benyacko race side by side for the lead, but Benyacko leads lap 10. Reed got clear off of turn 2 on lap 11, but Jake Galloway takes the inside into turn 3 and will fight for the lead once again. On lap 16 Cody Goforth and Austin Delgado make contact and almost spin but they both save it! With 11 laps to go, Jake Galloway is pulling away from the pack as his 48 car has been on fire today. 7 laps to go, Chandler Maurice, dives into turn 1 and takes the bottom away from Galloway as they race side by side for the lead! 6 laps to go Chandler gets clear of the 48 and will lead the field with Matthew Brown behind him! One lap to go in the Las Vegas 200, Alex Benyacko is on the back of Chandler Maurice! Into turn 1 Benyacko makes the move to the inside! They stay side by side into 3 with the advantage to Benyacko! Off of turn 4 Alex Benyacko clears the 11 and will win the Las Vegas 200! Your top 10 is as followed,
