As in life, there is always more to know. That is why I have in the recent two stories repeated some of the old stories. How many stories were written, I thought a refresh was in order. Time can be a delicate subject, and with what is going with the Jedi Knights, Stargate Command, and the living Force — which happens to be Her Majesty Samantha Carter O'Neill Baas. Ever wondered how she became the Force in the first place? A lot of what has been said is a mix of reality, mythology, and things that cannot really be explained in mere words or experiences.
There is a lot to be said regarding Starfleet and the U.S.S. Enterprise D and all its crew. I just did not jump to it for no good reason. It was a lot more than introducing Skyma Talle Cassandra Baas and Samantha Carter as sisters. Believe it or not, Her Majesty Empress of the Jedi Knight had a lot to do with not only Earth but the entire galaxy of all temporal understandings. They have a bigger part in all this Jedi business than you could ever realize. All you know of Starfleet and Enterprise D had everything to do with Her Majesty Samantha Carter (soon to be O'Neill) Baas.
You read right, folks. She had done more for the universe than the stuffy olé Time Lords on Gallifrey could ever do in their lifetime. For her Majesty to help so many throughout the galaxy, she had to have a collective mindset of all she was working with. There are beneficial reasons to have a group of people who have a collective central intelligence. I could go on for hours on them. The major ones everyone benefits from having an open sharing of ideas. Many philosophers have stated how important openness is to each other. Military units can succeed in their objectives if they work as one.
As with anything in life, there is always a downside to just about everything. This is what is called corruption. Just about all governments throughout Earth's history have faced it, as well as the galaxy far, far away from it. The Dark-side itself is a form of corruption of what Her Majesty had done for the ancient Jedi Knights so long ago. It was not her fault in giving this energy field that is called the Force. It was because of the power lust of all that was involved. Since I have no knowledge of who was the first to use the Force for evil purposes, I can tell you that Palpatine had his hands in it very deep. As far as the evil incarnate of Samantha Carter, I really cannot tell you all that much, but as my stories develop, we all might learn some things about her.
Surprised you thought I held all the answers, didn't you? The state of education these days! While I may possess a deeper understanding of these bygone eras than most readers, even the wisest among us are forever students. Just like life, knowledge unfolds continuously. My stories themselves are a testament to this; they'd have reached a dead end long ago if not for the constant unearthing of new discoveries.
While each tale may appear distinct, they're all threads woven into a grand tapestry, a saga without a definitive finale. The segmentation allows for a more digestible format, perfect for revisiting and refreshing your memory. Never hesitate to delve back into these pages, dear reader. Like myself, you might be surprised by the fresh insights gleaned from a familiar passage. Repetition, after all, is a powerful teacher.
Now, about this collective mind. Trekkies familiar with Starfleet and Captain Picard might think of the Borg. However, the Borg represent a perversion of the concept. Their hive mind assimilates individuality, erasing the very essence of what makes a collective powerful.
Corruption can taint even the most well-intentioned ideas. Just consider the concept of free enterprise. The foundation — individual initiative and collaboration — is essential for progress. Yet, power imbalances can turn it sour, as evidenced by historical abuses of capitalism.
While politics aren't our focus, the historical struggles of Earth, even after encounters with beings from distant galaxies, serve as a reminder: no society is immune to challenges. Crime and social complexities persist, a testament to the constant battle against corruption.
