We where on the highway heading south. It had been snowing a lot lately and the road was slippery. My dad turned a corner and the wheels lost there traction we spun out of control and hit the side rail.we hit it with so much force that we busted through it. The car crashed down the hill I hit my head and blacked out. I woke up to the sound of sirens when I tried to sit up I couldn't the roof of the car was crushed down on top of me. Mom Dad are you okay? MOM DAD answer me!! Collin Collin are you okay? Mom Dad Collin don't leave me alone please wake up. I heard sirens stop and minutes later a fire man was yelling trying to see how many people where still alive. My head fell on the roof of the car and I was out. i have a blerd memory of the fire men sawing off the top of of the car putting a splint around my kneck. I saw my twin brother Collin coverd in blood his leg was brocken the bone was sticking out of his leg. I screamed and screamed for Collin. Then an odd sence of calm came over me and I was out like a light.
It's has been a year since the accident. Since then I have not said a word to anyone. Everyone stuck around for a couple of months and after that they all started to disappear. First the friends then the family stopped calling. I was left alone in a big Victorian house on top of a hill. A hill my parents owned. My parents owned half the town if not more. I was not inertly alone they left me all of the servants that worked in the house and all of there money and the old car. All of the "help" talks to me and still makes sure I'm okay. There has been one nurse maid since around the time my parents died. Her name is Lillian and she is a nice 40 something year old women. She is the only maid that lives in the house with me. It had been a long boring summer of dealing with my family and trying to act like an adult. there were two weeks until school started it was starting to get cold. There was a moving truck outside of the house next door. I banged on the window trying to get the Butler Marvin attention. He heard me knocking and came in side and into the study where I was sitting. In the large study that belonged to my dad. It had a large window that looked out on the front garden and drive. He had a bench installed when I was little so I could sit and read and watch the world go by from my own little seat. It was now one of my favorite palaces since they had died. "Miss. Andrew what can I help you with?" Marvin said. I looked back out the window and waved my hand to call him over. He came over to the window and looked out. "Oh I see miss would you like to go over and introduce your self." I nodded to him. "Alright I will let the cooks know to make a pie or something, and lets go inform Lillian so she can get ready." "You should go wash up and put on some nicer clothes before you go." I nodded at him he bowed and I left the study. The house was so large that a couple of years ago my mom put intercom's in all of the rooms so we could reach each other. I heard Marvin call for Lillian to meet him in the study. since the house was so old it had hidden doors. The door to my room was upstairs along a hall of books if you pulled out a book my door opened up. My room is white with turquoise stripes, I had a queen sized canopy bed and a cat. My cats name was James he is supper soft. I went into the bathroom and took a hot shower. After I blow dried my hair so it fell into ringlets put a bow in my hair I got dressed in dark pare of tight jeans and a sweater with a cat. I came down the stairs and found Lillian standing in the entry way with a pie in her hands. "How are you feeling sweetie"said Lillian. I gave her a thumbs up. "All right are you ready to go?" once again she got a thumbs up. She opened up the large front door. It had started snowing. The pretty little white flakes. I stuck my tongue trying to catch the little flakes on my tongue. "Come on sweetie lets go" Lillian waved for me to follow her. we walked down the long path and out the front gate. the house was right next door. The balcony from my mothers study was right at the level of theirs. Lillian buzzed the gate Hello we are your neighbors we brought you a pie. the gate buzzed and slowly opened up. there was a skate ramp and a trampoline. I wondered how old there kid were. once we got up to the door it was already open the butler was standing at the door. The lady of the house would like to know if you like to join us for dinner. only if its not to much trouble. not trouble at all mam. would you like to come into the seating area. we stepped inside the house. they had a lovely chandelier with little crystals. We walked into the living room and sat on the couch. I stood up and signed to her asking if I could go out side. She said I could. I walked to the front door and was stopped by a little girl she looked to be about 7. She had blond hair pulled into two pig tails. Are you my neighbor? I nodded my head. my name is Molly whats yours. I got out a little note pad and pen out my pocked and wrote Clara. She looked at me with a confused look are you deaf? I shook my head no. why don't you talk? I wrote I was in an accident and i stopped talking. oh I'm sorry she said. do you sign? she asked. I signed back yes. Molly what are you doing? a voice at the top of the stairs. A boy about my age( I'm 17) came walking down the stairs. his black hair fell into his eyes he looked like your typical bad skater boy. Oh I had no idea we had guests. and your name is...... her name is Clara and she is not deaf. the boy gave his sister a confused look. why would you ask her such a thing? well she doesn't talk so I asked her if she was deaf. She says she is not. Alright then try not to be so rude to guest next time. Molly took my hand and walked me out the front door and over to the trampoline. Do you want to bounce on the trampoline. I got back out my little notebook and wrote down that I would love to. I also asked if the sake park was hers or her brothers. She said it was her brothers. I was tired of writing so I singed to her that it was cool and if she knew how to skate. No my brother thought it was a wast of time to teach me.
