After a week spent working hard

The best place to go

Is not very far at all

Just past the house lays a special place

Where twilight has just passed by

Surroundings nearly black

Expect for the few ferns enhanced by the glow of the fire

The evening dew that was once clinging to the blades of grass

Is now a decoration to skin

A place where being alone does not lead to loneliness

With company of the stars above

Listening to the soft song of crickets

The coldness of the breeze swirls around you

Gently caressing your face

Tranquility washing over your tired body

Nothing else matters but the beauty of the night

In the illumination a cat pads through the quiet neighborhood

As the night time blossoms fall gracefully on top of the water

Spinning them around

The aroma of burning wood filling your senses

And as dawn approaches

It was hard knowing paradise would be gone so soon

But planning to await for it's next arrival
