Hi again. Sorry for the time this has taken since I've been lacking in motivation recently but now I'm back! This chapter is a series of scenes I'd have liked to have seen from Season 3's 'Nevermore' episode because there is so much unexplored Bellarke content I only wish they had filmed. Enjoy!
The inside of Niylah's trading post was dimly lit as Bellamy reluctantly barged his way through the door with his gun gripped tightly in his hand.
There wasn't enough time.
Behind him, he could feel Clarke's cold glare trained between his shoulders at the thought of her friend being threatened, but it soon faded as Sinclair marched through the tension with Raven's limp body in his arms. Inside the interior was decorated with all manner of hunting essentials, torches and an obvious lack of food which was likely due to the blockade and bad business.
"I told you, my mom was here. If she was chipped ALIE would know," Monty piped up as he caught up with Clarke who strode throught the front door after Sinclair. Clarke gave up glaring at Bellamy and pushed past him before heading towards the back of the house.
"That's why we're putting her in the back, through there."
Monty and the others followed Clarke past spears and sacks of other tools before waking through another doorway past a curtain and into a bedroom with a bed covered in furs; the dim light sent the shadows of their silhouettes dancing.
Without a second glance, Clarke motioned for Sinclair place Raven on the bed, but not before the girl in question had begun to stir and now shot upright in search of a way out, her eyes cold yet her body alert and reading to fight.
As soon as she began thrashing around, the others were now collected, surrounding the bed and trying desperately to hold Raven down as Clarke yelled at them to tie her to the bed. Restraints and ropes were found but Raven continued to wrestle and scream at anyone who tried to restrain her.
"Where the hell am I? Let me go! Let me go!"
Bellamy had one side and Clarke held the other arm while Sinclair and Octavia held her feet. As they grunted under the effort of keeping Raven subdued, Jasper got too close and came away with a sharp slap to the face from an enraged Raven and cursed aloud.
"Raven! Stop fighting!" Octavia cried as she tried again to tie knots on the ties by Raven's boots.
"Why is it always me?" Jasper cursed again and held his nose to check for any damage. Meanwhile Bellamy had successfully secured Raven's arm to his side and watched as Clarke finished tying hers; each gave the other a look to check they were okay.
"Sinclair I need your help," Octavia yelled over Raven's screams until she felt herself getting frustrated at Raven's strength and threatening kicks. Sinclair finished his side and then pinned down a leg until Octavia tied the final knot.
"Let me go!" Raven screamed again, her face now red with rage and sweat. Sinclair winced at the rawness in her voice but kept going.
"There. Got it!"
"Let me go! Ahhhh!!" The bedframe by Bellamy's side rattled dangerously as Raven's back thrust against it in another attempt to free herself but he stayed still and watched with wide eyes as his friend went insane before him. Whatever this was, they had to act fast.
Quickly he glanced over at Clarke and saw the same fear reflected in her face before she met his eyes and threw up her hands in confusion. "How the hell do we get that thing out of her head?!"
"Working on it," Monty piped up from behind Clarke and walked out the way they had come in.
Sinclair followed him out, his expression pained as he watched Raven struggle against the ropes that had already begun to dig into her wrists. Her bandaged wrists.
