The water beneath us

Intro and Guide :)

  Hi who ever is reading this, and welcome to this story. I'm super excited to finally be writing a story now that I have a thought out idea . If your into vampires like me, or just want something to read then you've come to the right place.

  This story is about a 15 year-old girl named Aurora whose being sent away to stay with family friends for a year. When she arrives at their house she is reacquainted with Adrian, a boy she knew when she was younger. Aurora wants nothing more than to leave, but when she starts to realize there is a lot more going on that meets the eye she falls into a whole new world.

Vampire Guide (this will become useful as the story progresses):

- Vampire:

  Has super strength, speed, reflexes, heightened hearing and drinks blood. Can die when their heart is ripped out. This type of vampire is born human and turns when bitten by a pureblood. 

- Pureblood:

  A rare vampire species, has super strength, speed, reflexes, heightened hearing, can drink human blood or eat normal food. What sets them apart from normal vampires is that they are born vampires and not turned into them. A pure blood is born with a heartbeat but on their 18th birthday they die, and are reborn with the power of a full pureblood. They can't die unless their heart is fully destroyed, otherwise it can be placed back into the corpse and they can be revived. This type of vampire is the product of elemental vampires and humans having children. 

- Hybrid:

  A crossbreed between human and vampire. Can live on human food or human blood. Has heightened senses but not on the same level as a normal vampire. Can die the same ways as humans. 

-Elemental Vampire:

  A vampire species that is extinct. They are the first line of Vampires ever, and get their energy from moon light. The only way to kill them is to keep them locked up for a few moons cycles. When they die they turn into water. This type of vampire reaches maturity on their 16th birthday when they bathe in the water of their ancestors to absorb their power.
