Forbidden Love

"Where are we going?" She asked with a small laugh. She held my hand a little tighter as we walked on the rock road.

"Somewhere." I replied and smiled to myself.

"Haha, i didnt know that," she said sarcastically,"but Taylor, you know my dad told me to come home by nine." She said and slowed down her pace.

"Yeah, but it will only take a few minutes, trust me." I said and stopped to look at her.

"Okay." She said and we started walking again.

I could smell the water and hear the waves come across the shore line. I knew taking Sarah here would take her mind off of everything else that was going on. She has been stressed and she wont tell me why and I didnt want to overwhelm her by asking her whats wrong.

As we got over the hill, there was a breathtaking veiw of the beach, the moonlight glistened over the water.

"Its so beautiful." She said and put her hand over her mouth.

"I knew you would like it." I said and sat down on the edge of the small cliff and let go of her hand. She followed me and sat down on the edge right next to me, not takimg her eyes off the water. She laid her head on my shoulder and held my hand.

"Thanks for taking me here Taylor." She said and looked up at me, we were so close together i thought we might kiss.

*ring ring*

She got up uncomfortably and got out her phone. She looked at me and before answering she told me, its my dad. She answered it and said," hello?" Then all you could hear was a deep voice on the other end talking then she said,"okay, im sorry, bye." And then hung up the phone.

"I got to go home," she said and smiled uneasily,"im sorry."

"Its okay, i should probably start heading home too." I said getting up.

We started walking back to the car and i looked at the ground the whole way there, we didnt even talk. When we got to the car i went to her side and opened the door for her to get in, then went to my side and got in.

I put my left arm on the arm rest on the door and my right hand on the steering wheel.

"Why are you mad?" She asked breaking the silence.

I looked at her confused,"what?"

"You always sit in that stance when youre mad." She replied.

"Im not mad, im just a little tired." I said and looked back at the road.

She looked back out the passenger window and i couldnt help but notice how pretty she looks with the moonlight on her.

We got to her house a few minutes later and i walked her up to the front door.

"Thanks again for taking me to the beach, it was really nice." She said not looking exactly at me.

"No problem." I said awkwardly, putting my hands in my back pockets. Before i knew it, she stood on her tip toes and kissed me on the cheek. I played it cool but inside i smiled. She smiled at me and opened the front door.

"Goodnight Taylor." She said and smiled again.

"Goodnight Sarah." I replied, still playing it cool. She shut the door and i walked towards my car, when i got inside, i smiled and took a deep breath and pulled out of the driveway.
