Mysterious New Kid

The thrilling sound of my alarm clock woke me up from my peaceful and relaxing sleep. I sat up groaning reaching for my alarm clock to turn it off. But instead of reaching for my clock, I accidentally missed my bed side table and lost balance. I landed on the floor with a big , thunk!
"Ouch!" I slowly rubbed my head. "Well, thats one way, how to start the day." Finally as i got back on my feet, I reached towards the beeping device and turned it off. Getting up, i streched and looked out of the window. "Looks like a nice day for a hike through the woods" I said as I walked towards the closet. I picked out a pair of black ripped jeans and a grey/white striped crop-top. After i got finished getting dressed,  I headed downstairs to grap something to eat, before making my way to school. In the Kitchen was my mom, she was making some French toast.  I walked over to her, gave her a hug, and sat down so that I could eat.  "How did you sleep, ivy?" She asked. Quick after that I answered "Good actually,  evan though i feel off my bed." She giggled while handing me my French toast. After finishing my breakfast,  I gave my mom a kiss goodbye and left for school.  As already planned I headed towards the woods. Before entering,  i had put my hair up into a ponytail so that it wouldnt hang in all the branches. And so I begang my hike, through the peaceful and relaxing woods. I came to a stop and looked at the time on my phone. "I still have 10 minutes time before class starts" I told myselfe. I walked off the trail, to find a nice tree. As soon as I found one, I climbed up onto one of its branches. There I sat, feet dangling from the tree.
I enjoyed that moment, until I heard something.  It was a thrill sound. I couldnt quite make out what it was. I looked in both directions hoping I could see something from up were I was sitting. No luck. Slowly I climbed back down and start to head the direction were I heard the noise. After walking for about 5 minutes, I could see something laying on the ground from the far. Jogging towards it, I could finally make out what it was. It was a deer. A dead one. With relief. I let out a sight. As I was about to turn around and leave, I noticed something weird on the deer. An animal would have ripped this deer into peaces by now. There were no gun shots heard, not any wounds of it on the body. But, there was one thing.
Two little holes on the side of its neck.
There was still blood coming out. So its fresh. Something blinded my eye for a second. I looked over to were it came from. There was a necklace laying in a patch of grass. It wasnt any kind of normal necklace.  The chain and the ornament were both silver. There was a dark blue stone in the middle with, what it looks like silver vines holding it in place.

I suddenly heard a branch break from behind me. Quickly i grabbed the necklace and turned around to see if anyone was there. No one. I took off running,  incase something was following me.  I had totally forgot about school!

Finally arriving at school, i stormed up the stairs and ran towards my class. I opend the door, bending over to catch my breath. "Im so sorry im late, Mrs. Gr-" I begang to say. I was cut off as I saw a Boy standing infront of the class staring at me.
"Go sit down Miss heart" My teacher said.
I head towards my seat in the back row. Still feeling his glaze on me.
I had a weird feeling avout the new kid. I couldn't tell if it was a good or bad feeling.  As ge finishes i introducing himself,  ge heads to his seat and we continue on with class.
