Brianna’s POV:

*Friday

DATE DAY!!! FINALLY!!! I woke up with the biggest smile on my face. I don’t think I’ve ever been so happy but I think today is gonna be the best day of my life…so far. Being a habit of mine, I turned over and unlocked my phone to see ten new texts and a missed phone call. The call was from Joseph, my brother. I’ll call him later but I need to respond to my texts. Wait, why do I have so many texts? It’s only…eleven. ELEVEN!!! Why didn’t Marcus wake me up? Ugh, I’ll yell at him later but I really need to respond to these texts.

Marcus: I didn’t wake you because I had to step out. We’re going out today so get cleaned up and get dressed. Dress comfortable, maybe a tank and some shorts. We’re going to Times Square for some shopping and maybe a movie. I’ll be back before one.

Me: Ok. I just got up. So hurry.

Becca: Call me when you wake up

Me: I’ll call you later. Me and Marcus are going out

Tom: Date tonight!!! Are you excited?

Me: Yes, I’m freaking out :O

Max: My baby girl is growing up. She’s going on a date. I’m a mess :’)

Me: Relax. I won’t grow up without your permission :)

Jill: Nathan told us about your date. No matter what you say, I’m helping you get ready :)

Me: I can’t turn down help. Thank you :)

Cameron: Wanna hang today?

Me: Can’t I’m busy all day

Jay: Can’t to hear about the date

Me: I don’t even know what we’re doing :(

Siva: Date night :)

Me: I know. Stop making me more excited than I already am :D

Joseph: We need to talk about mom. Call me when you can.

Me: Call me later. I’m actually busy all day. Sorry :/

Chelsea: DATE NIGHT!!! I’m helping you get ready :) You’re gonna look so pretty. I mean prettier than usual.

Me: I’ll love all the help I can get. I’m freaking out but I’m so excited.

Nathan: Can’t wait to see you tonight ;) See you later. Enjoy your day off

Me: Can’t wait to see you too ;) And I will :) Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.

Now that I responded to all the texts, I had to run out to my car and grab something to wear. I quickly grabbed my black under armour tank and shorts and my black Air Jordan’s. I was in an all-black mood since we were heading to Times Square and I really didn’t wanna stand out. I got back inside and headed in towards the bathroom. I didn’t bring anything to shower with so I shot a text to Marcus.

Me: Hey, I don’t have any toiletries. Help!

Marcus: Haha, don’t worry. Go in the closet across from the bathroom. Everything should be in there, but you’re gonna have to wear men’s deodorant. Sorry

Me: Don’t worry about it. Clean is clean :)

I locked my phone and headed to the closet and there everything was. He had everything. And I mean everything, like razors, different deodorants, after shave, body washes, shaving creams, mouth wash, extra toothbrushes, lotion and floss. This guy was prepared if anything happened. His hygiene must love him. After grabbing all the toiletries I needed, I walked into the bathroom, stripped off my clothes and got in the shower. The warm water felt so good against my skin. I look my typical hour shower. I did my normal routine: wash body, wash hair, shave legs, and get out. I dried myself and wrapped a towel around my hair. I grabbed the lotion and put some on my arms and legs before putting on my bra and panties. I quickly pulled on my shirt and shorts and started blow drying my hair. Once I was fully dressed and my hair was dry, I stepped outta the bathroom and headed back to the guest room to put on my sneakers.
