So I'm remastering this story, considering the first time around was a little sloppy, and I lost the plot, so I'm redoing this, and I'm going to do it right this time. (By the way, Y/U = Your Username.)
One more thing to keep in mind, is the Characters' races:
Kirito: Wood Elf
Asuna: Wood Elf
Agil: Breton
Sinon: Khajiit
Silica:Nord
Lisbeth: Nord
You: KhajiitIt has been a few months since Kirito aided the government with the Gun Gale Online case, and things are starting to warm up for him again. Only this time, he got a call from Lisbeth, and she brings surprising news.
"Hey, Kazuto. Can you help me arrange for everyone to meet up at the Dicey Cafe? I've got something that they might like to see." Rika asked with a sly tone.
"Yeah, I can do that. What's the news?" Kazuto asked curiously.
"It's a surprise." She replied nonchalantly.
"Alright. See you in about an hour?" He replied casually.
"Perfect! Bye!" She replied, hanging up on the spot.
He then made a few calls, and an hour later, everyone arrived as promised. Everyone except for Klein, who has work to complete.
"So, what was it you wanted to talk about?" Sinon asked seriously.
"This right here." She replied, getting some copies of the beta version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, remastered as an online version exclusively for the Amosphere and NerveGear.
"Woah! Where'd you get these?" Kazuto asked with wide eyes.
"I had a couple of friends who won them in giveaways, though their Amosphere broke and they can't afford to replace it, so they gave them away to me. You guys want a copy?" She asked with a smirk.
"I'm so grateful for this! I've been looking forward to this release since I played the original on the second gaming computer I built!" Kazuto replied with stars in his eyes.
"Thanks!" Asuna said happily.
The rest took their copy graciously and arranged for a time to play.
"Hey, Agil? When Klein comes in later today, could you please give him his copy? Otherwise I won't know what to do with two." She said with a chuckle.
"Sure. Thanks." He said happily.
Meanwhile:
"Y/N, we need you to go back into the game one last time. We've just found some frame rate and graphical bugs which need to get sorted out." Hyde said sternly.
"Sure. That won't be a problem." You replied nonchalantly.
You placed your Amosphere on your head and went in.
"So, where's this bug that needs fixing?" You asked Hyde, however, no response came from him.
"Hyde? Boss?" You asked again.
You tried to log out, only for the exit button to be missing.
"Shit… hey, Hyde! The exit button is missing!!" You yelled.
"Don't bother. It was a set up." Arya said to you seriously.
"Arya? What do you mean it was a setup?" You asked her seriously.
"I mean, he intended to trap us in the game. I noticed that he was talking to some other beta testers just before you came back into this world, and he mentioned that it was all part of his plan. He wants 'to do what Akihiko failed to do, and make a world that is truly unbeatable'." She replied nervously as reality set in, and the shock wore off.
